Position Goals
To ensure the successful implementation of the Credit Recovery Program by coordinating staffing and logistics, enrolling students, supporting instructional staff, and maintaining accurate records-ultimately helping students recover academic credits and stay on track for graduation.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of the Credit Recovery Program, including:
Coordinating classroom/facility scheduling
Ensuring coverage by approved credit recovery instructors
Arranging for substitutes as needed
Enroll students into credit recovery courses selected by their school counselor
Serve as the main point of contact for student and staff issues related to the credit recovery system
Support credit recovery instructors in monitoring student progress and collaborating with counselors and classroom teachers
Maintain accurate records and data related to student participation and program effectiveness
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Building Principal
Attend mandatory (paid) training sessions, unless previously trained in Edgenuity
Comply with all District policies and procedures related to online coursework
Work Environment & Expectations
Work is performed in a typical school classroom or designated tutoring space. Tutors are expected to maintain a professional, student-focused atmosphere and adhere to all District policies regarding confidentiality, conduct, and instructional integrity.
Physical and Mental Demands
Must be able to move between classrooms or tutoring locations. Requires the ability to engage in prolonged periods of concentration, interact effectively with students and staff, and manage multiple tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable laws.
This hourly position is a non-tenure, extra-duty assignment contingent upon sufficient student enrollment, program approval, and available funding. It is not subject to continued renewal and
may be discontinued at the district's discretion. This position is exempt from overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Stipends are not calculated based on hours worked and are considered payment for duties performed outside the regular instructional day. Subject to satisfactory criminal background clearance and drug screening as required by Illinois School Code and District policy. This is an at-will, extra-duty appointment and may be discontinued at the District's discretion.

We have ongoing needs for the following areas:
Adult Community Education courses are non-credit general interest courses that enhance the life-long learning of our Central Illinois Community members. Courses and workshops are offered on topics such as Art, Literature, Writing, Financial literacy, Gardening, Photography, Travel, History, Languages, Culinary Arts, Health related topics, etc. The classes are offered both face-to-face and online and can be one session or several depending on the topic.
Business Training courses are non-credit training courses offered to area professional adults in either open enrollment courses offered at ICC, in an online format, or on site for employers as contracted training through ICC. Courses are offered day, evenings and weekends at intervals based on the need of student, client or certification requirements. Based on qualifications, facilitators may teach in the following areas of expertise: business and entrepreneurship, human resources, finance, operations, information technologies, safety, manufacturing, health care and employability skills.
Children First classes are court mandated in divorce and custody cases for individuals with children under the age of 18. The goal of the program is to assist parents in becoming more aware and responsive to the needs of their children in divorce and custody situations. The class helps parents prepare for typical problems families encounter during divorce and post-divorce. Applicants must have the ability to provide classroom instruction and facilitation two to three times per month using the
Children First Foundation Parenting Education Curriculum
. Classes are on Tuesday or Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings and are four hours in length.
Traffic Safety courses are provided for the community in collaboration with area circuit courts for drivers who have received a driving citation. The goal of the program is to review driver safety concepts, laws, and regulations in the hopes that drivers will be better informed defensive drivers. Facilitators who are hired will be expected to complete training on the required National Safety Council curriculum. Facilitators should be willing to teach 2-3 times per month after the short training period. The classes are four hours in length and offered on Monday or Wednesday evenings and some Saturdays mornings.
Compensation for these areas range from $30.00 to $50.00 an hour depending on subject matter expertise and experience.

At various statewide locations, conducts training on IDCFS policy and practice, as illustrated in IDCFS Rules, Procedures and various established pre-service and in-service training curricula.
* Provides training management feedback reports on all matters related to the performance of duties that include, but are not limited to the following: employee attendance and performance while in training; reports on incidents, illness, injuries/accidents that may occur in the classroom; identification of additional employee training needs; systemic and other employee and/or Department performance issues which arise that need management/trainee's supervisory attention. May assist agency management and administration in evaluating employee job performance while in training, for purposes of recruitment, selection and retention. Additional Physical Demands
Statewide travel is required. Anticipated travel can include same-day mileage or overnight stays. Travel also includes extended stays for multi-day training with prior notice. Traveling is scheduled in alignment with training calendar.
While the ability to secure reliable transportation to statewide sites is an essential requirement for this position, a valid driver's license is preferred. Travel expenses are processed per University policy.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in any combination of education, psychology, social work, training, or online training course design and development. Four (4) or more years of experience in one or more specialized fields of child welfare practice, including Child Welfare Intake, Child Protection Investigation, Intact Family Services, Permanency/Foster Care Services, Licensing and other related direct or indirect service practice. Possession of a current Illinois Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) in accordance with state requirements.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide athletic trainer coverage for high school athletic programs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The athletic trainer will practice said profession within the parameters of the Illinois Athletic Trainers Licensing Law as laid out by the Illinois Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and will follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association. These duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic programs. The athletic trainer's duties should not be considered all inclusive. The Athletic Director, as necessary, shall modify duties. The athletic trainer will be present at home athletic contests and practices and shall attend other post-season and home-hosted contests as directed by the Athletic Director:
• Establish an effective athletic training program for high school athletics.
• Provide 1st aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning for student-athletes. The athletic trainer will also be responsible for making appropriate physician referral.
• Provide coverage at home events and practices from the beginning of the fall sport season to the conclusion of the spring season.
• Coordinate the annual required athletic physicals and supervise the clearance of injured athletes prior to and during the sport seasons.
• Maintain a line of communication with the team physician(s) regarding athletic health care and recommended treatment/rehabilitation for all athletic injuries.
• Assist coaching staff in evaluating and implementing sport specific conditioning programs and methods.

• Share professional literature relative to athletic training with the school's coaching staff.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
12 month position. The athletic trainer will work in accordance with a weekly schedule to be determined by the Athletic Director. Weekly schedules will vary according to the athletic season.
