JOB SUMMARY
Performs shelter and crisis intakes to identify appropriate services and safety measures. Orients youth to agency policies, programs, and expectations. The Research Associate Program at GBI, in cooperation with BLM Utah, is recruiting one (1) Native Seed Program Manager to provide GIS support and administrative support for the Seeds of Success (SOS) national native seed collection program across Colorado Plateau ecoregion.
Project goals will be advanced by using USGS tools with our SOS inventory, seed source origin locations, and geospatial data to identify plant materials needs and to plan SOS collection priorities. The project will also provide district biologists, project specialists, and managers with plant materials and population information that can be used to evaluate conservation objectives, restoration efficacy, and the interactive effects of climate, drought, invasive species, and wildfire. This project may also identify factors that can improve restoration efforts before important ecosystems are lost.
Primary Responsibilities:
Utilizing USGS tools with Seeds of Success data to identify plant materials needs and to plan SOS collection priorities.
Updating compiled seed collection inventory, test result, seed storage and location data as it comes in.
Updating data on commercially available plant materials and their characteristics.
Performing quality control on native seed collection data.
Compiling propagation trail information from seed increase partners.
Producing maps and other data visualization tools for reporting and presentations.
Collaborating within the Bureau of Land Management as well as with other federal agencies, non-profits, and plant conservation organizations.
Opportunities may exist for outreach and education, Seed of Success fieldwork, and regional restoration and rehabilitation support.

JOB SUMMARY
Works under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager to provide the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance Salt Lake County's enterprise-wide cyber security programs which are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all County systems and resources, including but not limited to voice, data, network, applications, and computer infrastructure, and their associated information assets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or closely related field, plus four (4) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of eight (8) years of related education and experience.
Professional certifications related to information security or computer networking are preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complies with and promotes all IT security policies, processes, procedures, and best practices.
Act in an advisory role to other teams both internal to IT and throughout the county.
Deploys and integrates IT security and privacy-related programs designed to protect the County's systems, applications, and data.
Identifies and communicates security issues and their impact on the IT organization and the County and assists with executing successful solutions while tracking and achieving measurable results.
Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with users countywide to actively market and educate them on the importance of security cooperation and compliance.
Deploys, as instructed, the Information Security plans and short-term and long-term strategies for the IT organization and the County.
Documents processes and monitors systems that report on the effectiveness of systems and controls necessary to protect the County's information technology systems, assets, and interests.
Monitors compliance with the organization's information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, partners, and other third parties and resolves potential issues as needed. Assists with information security risk assessments.
Responds to information security incidents and follow up to ensure that proper protection and corrective measures have been successfully taken.
Performs and participates in forensic investigations and audits as required.
Design, develop, and implement security controls for payment card data systems.
Implements a cloud security strategy to protect County IT systems and data in PaaS, SaaS, and laaS environments.
Embraces managed security service options as they are considered.
Stays current with technical knowledge in information systems, security and privacy technologies, best practices, and use of appropriate security controls and methods.
Maintains certifications as specified by the Associate Division Director, Cyber Security

* Develops and implements tactics to engage with new arts organizations and traditional revenue-generating bookings and in-house events in partnership with local and regional arts organizations.
* Builds relationships and contracts that facilitate the development of specialized series offerings for key site spaces, targeting new patrons and previously underserved demographics within our community to bring relevant and supportive programming.
* Identifies and develops pipelines and relationships in the community, which will generate revenue through booking opportunities for mid-size meetings and events, conventions, conferences, filming, and live streaming.
* Responds to inquiries about scheduling rooms and event spaces.
* Meets with clients to discuss setup options, calculates cost estimates, and reviews checklists of requirements for the use of facilities and approved service providers.
* Negotiates and finalizes rental contracts, records tentative and contracted dates on the event calendar, and accepts deposits and fee payments.
* Acts as primary point of contact with clients, including private and non-profit organizations, custodians, and temporary staff, to coordinate all details of scheduled events. This includes working with ticketing staff, patron services, food and beverage, and technical directors.
* Partners with Arts & Culture marketing teams to promote and publicize Eccles events.
* Arranges for last-minute adjustments in events or equipment setup at the request of the client and resolves problems and concerns as they arise during scheduled events.
* Monitors events throughout the scheduled time period to ensure compliance with the client's contractual agreement and security/safety requirements.
* Maintains database of events, community/media contacts, and list of authorized caterers, as established by County contracts.
* Prepares financial, statistical, or other reports and provides general administrative support.
