Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business and Relationship Development, you will be driving strategy development efforts focusing on new transactional opportunities for Prudential. * Develop and maintain approaches for evaluating opportunities for Pru's business development including but not limited to: Acquisitions, Minority Stake Investments, Partnership Agreements, Investment Management Agreements, and Strategic Reinsurance
* Supporting critical initiatives including execution of specific projects at the direction of the senior leadership team, synthesizing insights, and recommendations into presentations to clearly communicate findings to business unit leaders and working closely with subject matter experts across departments and within the corporate strategy team.
* Developing cross-functional relationships across the enterprise to gather inputs and assumptions to develop a viewpoint that will ultimately influence strategic development and direction.
* Identify changes in competitive landscape, market conditions, industry trends, regulatory environment, regional or country macro-economic factors, etc. which may require changes to strategic plans.
* Be a role model, educator, coach, and mentor across the wider organization.
What you'll need:
* 2+ years in financial services, preferably investment banking, or in corporate development/business development roles with a deep understanding of the financial services business.
* Bachelor's degree
* Outstanding strategic and quantitative skills to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations.
* Attention to detail with ability to dive into new topics and quickly absorb and distill large amounts of complex/detailed information into a readily digestible work product.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Summary Pay Range
The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.

About the role:
Our Investment Strategy team sits within the Investment Products and Research department. The iCapital Investment Strategy team serve as the face of the iCapital brand, conduct extensive research, and are responsible for articulating the role and benefits of alternative investments in investors' portfolios.
Conduct in-depth research on public and private markets to help support the team with weekly market publications and broader thought leadership.
Prepare and run market reports on a weekly or bi-monthly basis, providing the team with key market data.
Build private markets, alternative investment performance, and key macro indicator dashboards in Excel.
Aid in the build-out of our quarterly Private Markets deck.
Valued qualities and key skills:
Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility:
A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor's degree program
Must be available to work the duration of the program from June 8th through August 7th to be eligible
Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
Authorized to work in the United States*

Pay Rate: $42.00/hour + relocation stipend and transportation stipend
