The Engineering team is seeking a Senior Level candidate to lead the adoption and enablement of Claude Code and AI-powered development tools across Prudential. This exciting position will offer a qualified individual the opportunity to lead a team of engineers who are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to transform the software development lifecycle and enhance developer productivity.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a passion for emerging AI technologies, strong presentation skills, and a desire to drive organizational change through innovative tooling and best practices.
The successful candidate will work on defining, building, and maintaining a comprehensive Claude Code ecosystem that includes custom plugins, skills, sub-agents, and slash commands. They will also be responsible for keeping the organization at the forefront of AI trends in the SDLC space.
This position requires an individual with strong analytical, programming, problem-solving, organizational, technical, and communication skills who must be able to work on complex projects with minimal guidance while effectively communicating progress to leadership and stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Demonstrate leadership experience managing teams focused on developer tooling, automation, and AI-powered development platforms
- Effectively lead a team responsible for architecting, building, maintaining, and supporting Claude Code plugins, skills, sub-agents, and custom commands
- Manage a highly technical Agile Delivery Team focused on AI tooling and developer experience
- Strong experience with AI development tools, prompt engineering, and LLM integration patterns
- Deliver end-to-end solutions using innovative approaches to integrate AI capabilities into the SDLC
- Design and implement custom Claude Code extensions including:
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and integrations
- Custom skills for specialized workflows
- Sub-agents for autonomous task completion
- Slash commands for streamlined developer workflows
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve upon AI tooling capabilities and develop technology roadmaps
Evangelization and Training
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to leadership and stakeholders on Claude Code adoption metrics, ROI, and strategic initiatives
- Run regular office hours to support developers and answer questions about Claude Code capabilities
- Develop comprehensive training materials including documentation, tutorials, video content, and hands-on workshops
- Evangelize AI best practices and trends in the SDLC space including AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, autonomous agents, and workflow automation
- Build a community of practice around AI-powered development tools within Prudential
Innovation and Trend Monitoring
- Stay current with the latest AI trends, tools, and best practices in software development
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and their potential application to Prudential's development workflows
- Assess and evaluate MCP servers and integrations for security, reliability, and enterprise fit
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI for improving code quality, security, testing, and deployment processes
- Drive continuous innovation in how development teams leverage AI capabilities
Governance and Best Practices
- Establish security and compliance guidelines for AI tool usage
- Define standards for prompt engineering, agent development, and integration patterns
- Implement metrics and monitoring to track adoption, usage patterns, and productivity gains
- Work with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure AI tool usage meets enterprise requirements
What you bring:
- At least 5 - 8 years of experience working in technology and 2 - 4 years of technical leadership experience
- Extensive development/automation experience in an enterprise environment, either through 1st person implementation or driving a team that achieved such outcomes
- Demonstrated experience with AI/LLM tools and platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar)
- Strong programming background in multiple languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.)
- Fluency with Agile Delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to create technical training content and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Experience running office hours, workshops, or technical enablement sessions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI development tools
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

The Senior Data Engineering Lead is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised Credit application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities for Credit suite of applications across Investor Services and also drive standardization and modernization of Credit strategy and architecture across Services.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Data Engineers. Oversee the design, development, and optimization of scalable and robust big data solutions and pipelines.
Big Data Engineering: Utilize extensive expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Spark (with Scala/Python), Apache Kafka, and distributed data processing frameworks. Design, develop, and implement highly performant and fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and transformation.
System Analysis and Design: Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals. Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes and system processes to recommend innovative solutions.
Project Management: Manage and implement successful projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) using JIRA) to drive project execution.
Code Quality and Standards: Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Develop and enforce standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, infrastructure engineers, and business analysts, to deliver integrated solutions. Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Mentoring and Coaching: Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary and providing guidance on technical best practices.

Version Control: Manage source code using GitHub, following established branching strategies and code review processes.

Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive technology experience in banking or financial services, including 5+ years of hands-on delivery leadership across enterprise-grade platforms.
Proven success managing large-scale, cross-functional Agile delivery in regulated environments with a strong track record of engineering excellence.
Solid academic foundation in Computer Science or Engineering; certifications in Agile/SAFe, Cloud, or GenAI/ML frameworks are a strong plus.
Strong hands-on experience in solutioning and delivering modern architectures, including microservices, cloud-native APIs, and secure data pipelines.
Deep working knowledge of Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks, sprint planning, PI planning, and DevSecOps automation (CI/CD, GitOps, release pipelines).
Practical exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based tools, with ability to drive automation, code acceleration, or intelligent query/document processing.
Experience leading production-grade implementations on hybrid/multi-cloud platforms, including failover, monitoring, and resiliency engineering.
Effective communicator and influencer across business, engineering, and architecture; adept at connecting GenAI innovation to business outcomes.

About the role

The Technical Delivery Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of applications focusing on UI, Services, DB integration. The role requires collaboration with developers and senior team members to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Participate in coding, testing, and debugging applications while following established standards and best practices. Document technical processes and maintain system documentation, relating to a variety of applications that support various Underwriting businesses. In addition to working on development initiatives, the Technical Delivery Analyst will also be expected to be engaged on end user support, maintenance activities, vulnerability management, service improvement planning and ongoing SOX / IT Control support and work closely with other key IT Team Contacts (i.e. DBA Teams, IT Infrastructure, IAM, etc.), the Operations Team and with project leaders to ensure that all projects and deliverables are appropriately structured, developed according to the development standards and expectations are clearly managed.
What you need to know
* Knowledge of UI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Axis and .Net framework
* Understanding of service-oriented architecture
* Experience in writing basic UNIX scripts
* Experience in handling different DB object & sources (Oracle PLSQL, Stored Procedures, DB2 etc.)
* Basic familiarity with API integration concepts
* Experience with code reviews and testing procedures
* Assist in implementing technical solutions following architecture guidelines
* Design, document, develop, and implement scalable, reliable and maintainable software products that meet the requirements of the business
* Work closely with the development team to perform hands-on review of the code, and provide guidance for the team to incorporate best coding practices and standards
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and other development team members to deliver products, clarify objectives, provide reliable estimates, formulate detailed delivery plans, determine scope, drive consensus, identify problems and recommend solutions.
* Establish strong relationships with the development team members.
* Ensure communication of technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Enforces security best practices in all aspect of the development lifecycle.
* Working with the wider IT group to understand direction and other in-flight initiatives, facilitating a collaborative and shared understanding.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in application development, with exposure to UI frameworks, services development, or integration technologies.
* Support the development of UI components and service integrations with Dev-Ops practices and tools
* Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
* Clear and confident communicator, ability to challenge and influence change at a strategic level.
* Team player, ability to work effectively in challenging and complex environments

Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
* 8+ years of hands-on application architecture and development experience working with JAVA, Node, JavaScript, UI Frameworks, NoSQL, and/or RDBMS databases in a cloud environment.
* Strong experience on DevOps tools.
* Proven record on architecting and implementing complex programs.
* Ability to multi-task effectively and be able to work in an open, collaborative environment to support both individual and team objectives.
* Experience working in a multi-site onshore-offshore model with the ability to mentor and guide multiple geographically dispersed Agile development teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in workplace benefits business.
* Willingness to learn Mainframe technology and understand its nuances for modernization.
