What you will do:
The associate will have daily contact with various operations groups within PGIM Quantitative Solutions (PQS), as well as the portfolio management team, client services and numerous other internal and external stakeholders. The associate will be responsible for working through exception reporting, processing corporate events, short-term daily deliverables and email requests. The PQS corporate actions and pricing team utilizes multiple vendor solutions and applications to complete daily tasks. Each set of tasks is completed by one of several associates. This role is within a group that is team oriented and the applicant will be expected to be able to work well within that dynamic.
What you can expect:
Day-to-day management of the trade processing workflow
Review and resolve trade discrepancies with brokers and custodians, gain agreement on all trade details (financial info as well as settlement info)
Confirm any necessary adjustments/corrections with Traders and process trade corrections as needed
Ensure all trades are settled by market deadlines on settlement date, with particular emphasis on sensitive markets and short-settlement trades.
Handle incoming email issues; resolve or route accordingly
Monitor all trade processing in our Trade Order Management system
Post all cash adjustments and flows accurately and timely based on days cash package reconciliations.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external parties
Follow-up on issues as related to assignments
Assist with ad hoc projects
Monthly Nav reconciliations to Fund Accountant or Custodians
What you will bring:
BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance/Economics/Accounting
1- 2 years of related experience in the accounting/operations area of the investment management industry preferred
Proficient in MS Excel, with an ability to learn new systems
Preferred knowledge of various AI platforms (Power BI, Co-Pilot, others)
Basic Bloomberg knowledge
Quantitative/Analytical skills
During peak periods, the individual may be required to work after regular hours to get the job done

Job Responsibilities
* Serve as a consultant aiming to solve business problems that drive qualitative and quantitative business value
* Conduct research to inform strategic proposals for inclusion in internal-facing products designed to drive productivity and efficiency across all employees engaged in building and maintaining the 107 software products at Chase.
* Design and execute implementation plans across prioritized initiatives ranging from product enhancements to experiments across job family personas.
* Manage relationships with senior leaders including supporting presentations to CFO, CTO, and CPO.
* Leverage design thinking practices to develop strategic, end-to-end, scalable solutions; coach others to inject the same practices into their work.
* Synthesize analytical findings for consumption by internal analytical clients and senior executives.
* Establish and manage relationships with internal clients and partners.
* Identify new project opportunities helping to grow our business pipeline for respective books of work.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* 3+ years of industry experience in consulting, solution design, or business analytics roles (e.g., marketing analytics, sales analytics, business insights)
* Experience with data analytics and/or visualization techniques (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau, Alteryx), as well as big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Cassandra, AWS)
* Excellent communication, with an ability to convey the strategic vision in a digestible manner for varying technical and senior audiences
* Experience with design thinking practices and tools (e.g., Lucid, Figma, customer journey mapping) and product management principles (e.g., Agile)
* Consulting orientation with ability to influence and effectively lead cross-functional teams
* Self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills and a drive to bring new ideas to life
* Experience and knowledge of data science and analytical methodologies and approaches, and familiarity with various artificial intelligence functionalities

What you'll do in the role:
* Creating and managing securities with a focus on automation, data quality and risk mitigation.
* Providing security master and reference data support to Front Office (PM's, Traders, Analysts) , Surveillance and other stakeholders across Asia, Europe, and America. Responding to all queries in a timely manner.
* Reviewing exception reports such as those for Aladdin and proprietary systems on a daily basis and resolving the exceptions
* Resolving cash and asset reconciliation exceptions including researching reference data points causing the breaks
* Partnering with global teams in West Conshohoken, PA and Mumbai, India for security master related cleanup, new data points and related projects.
What you'll bring to the role:
* 2+ years of experience in the asset management side of the investment management industry.
* Strong knowledge of investment instruments, their related reference data requirements and how they are expected to behave.
* Knowledge of Aladdin applications, particularly Security Master, Dashboards, AladdinView and Reconciliation. Other modules such as Trade Entry, Explore a plus.
* Proficiency with data querying tools such as PL/SQL and MSSQL a plus
* Proficiency with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Refinitive a plus
* Proficiency with automation tools such as Copilot, Alteryx, Ui Path and PowerBI a plus
* Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $65,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
