UIC Oil & Gas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, shovels, excavators, loaders, and forklifts. This role supports construction, excavation, and material handling operations while ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Rotational: 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off. **Responsibilities** Essential functions will include: + Operate various pieces of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, shovels, excavators, loaders, and forklifts. + Perform equipment operation tasks as directed by the site superintendent. + Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines while operating equipment. + Conduct basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs. + Assist with construction, excavation, and material handling activities as required. + Perform additional duties as assigned. + Equipment - PistenBully, Tucker Sno-cat, Excavator Drills, Volvo Loaders and Case Quadtracs (Steigers) **Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Valid driver's license and ability to maintain it. + Operator's proficiency with a variety of equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, shovels, excavators, loaders, and forklifts. + Skilled in operating basic construction equipment such as forklifts and loaders. + Ability to perform work independently without direct supervision. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to perform duties and operate tools in strict compliance with OSHA regulations. + Punctual and reliable work history. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Working knowledge of commercial construction practices. + 5+ years of related experience in commercial construction. + 3+ years of prior work history as a heavy equipment operator. The Remote Security Officer provides services for a variety of large and small business clients in remote settings where health, safety and security is our #1 priority. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, vision, and values. The Single Hand Pipe Welder is responsible for operating welding machines to join or connect various types of pipe and fittings in an oil and gas industry setting. The incumbent will be responsible for selecting and setting up welding equipment. Job tasks and assignments may vary daily. Schedule: 4 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF * 7 days per week 11.5 hours per day * 80.5 hours per week * Housing, meals and transportation company provided while on the North Slope Workplace Benefits: * Overtime Guaranteed * Medical Insurance (Individual and Family) * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * 401k with Company Match * Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Voluntary) * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Program Essential Job Functions: * Reads blueprints, drawings and welding diagrams * Interprets isometric drawings and determines which specifications to apply * Operates hand and power tools common to welding such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc * Hold, clamp heat-bend, tack-weld or bolt component parts * Ignites and installs torches and beveling machines within specifications * Welds using stainless steel, carbon steel and duplex materials * Maintains machines and inspects equipment to identify possible problems * Other duties as assigned Required Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma, or Equivalent * Ability to Pass ASME B31.3 - GTAW / SMAW 2' SCH 160 6G Pipe Test * Ability to Pass 2" XXH, 6010/7018, SMAW & 6" SCH, 160 GTAW/FCAW, 6G pipe tests * Ability to pass a 1" full-pen structural 3g/4g plate test * Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record * NSTC: North Slope Training Certification Post Job Offer Requirements: * Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check * Take and pass a Fit-for-Duty Examination Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: * Knowledge of industrial construction and characteristics of all equipment functions and operations related to the position * Knowledge of proper use of equipment such as welder machine, drill press and power tools * Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to equipment use and operation * Ability to use time and equipment efficiently to complete projects on time * Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment * Ability to handle stress and maintain positive attitude in difficult or challenging situations * Ability to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department * Ability to perform all work in a safe manner that meets company and client standards * Ability to adapt to changing work environment and conditions Physical Demand/Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
