Job Summary Support and implement project management information system tools to facilitate enhanced oversight and work planning methodology and to review the project portfolio along with schedule data. Develop, coordinate and maintain work/resource management, scheduling, procurement, and document management methods and databases. Ensure system work is accomplished with optimal use of both internal and external resources within required timeframes as well as within budget and scope. Work with departmental managers and technical leads to develop workload forecasting using work management system data, historical data, economic indicators, and project schedules. Project management responsibilities include project scope meetings, project update meetings and course correction. Assist in project schedule development; Contractor coordination and management; Project management assistance; Integrated scheduling; Performance reporting; Project change management; Risk and Contingency planning. Job Responsibilities The Principal Project Scheduler will develop project schedule and oversee the schedule management, tracking through project delivery of the projects within the SAP Modernization Program supporting all internal lines of business. Candidate will ensure projects being executed will meet the baseline schedule review process, are executed with optimal use of both internal and external resources within required timeframes, as well as within budget and scope Observe/guide scheduling team to evaluate processes adherence and quality for P6 cost loaded project schedules which support forecasting, reporting and departmental targets. Job Specific Qualifications BS in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Construction, or Business discipline or minimum six years professional business, engineering or construction experience Minimum 5 years of experience with Project Controls concepts (project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, or closeout) Minimum 5 years of experience with Scheduling concepts (schedule development, schedule controls and variance reporting) Full proficiency and experience with Integrated Data Management Tools such as, MS Excel; SharePoint experience with computer applications, including Primavera P6, and MS Office suite (strong Microsoft Excel skills). The Corporate Mechanical Engineer will be a Subject Matter Expert and will ensure industry leading performance via a robust Preventative Maintenance program and Long-Term Asset Management Strategies benchmarked against industry best practices, and will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Job Responsibilities: The Mechanical SME: Maintains expertise on Salem and Hope Creek Mechanical and support systems Chillers, HVAC, Compressors Emergency Diesel Generators Predictive Maintenance technologies Compressors/ Refrigeration Mentors site peers Provides support to the sites on complex and strategic issues Performs third part reviews of technical documents Leads complex engineering analysis and technical issues beyond the capabilities of the site personnel Provides in-the-field support during refuel outages Supports common projects affecting both sites as part of business and project planning Supports resolutions of industry issues that affect both sites Represent PSEG Nuclear by leading and influencing decision-making at the industry level Provide oversight and recommendations for routine assessments, outage readiness and preparation for outside organizational assessments Benchmarks industry best practices and incorporates learnings into programs/processes. Job Specific Qualifications BASIC REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in Engineering, Science or Technology. Must have a minimum of 15+ years experience directly related to turbine /generator asset management, maintenance, and/or technical support.
