Job Summary
The Principal BusinessAnalyst II is a senior-level contributor responsible for leading complex, high-visibility SAP Modernization Program. This role operates with a high level of autonomy, applying advanced analytical capabilities and business acumen to drive meaningful improvements in operational performance and customer outcomes. The analyst is expected to support and influence strategic decisions through in-depth evaluation of business needs, technical feasibility, and enterprise alignment. This includes working closely with business and IT leadership to define and prioritize requirements, establish implementation strategies, and ensure successful delivery of large-scale solutions. The role requires demonstrated experience working across departments, engaging with executive stakeholders, leading the documentation of current and future state processes, and recommending technology alternatives that meet functional and non-functional business needs. This individual must bring strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills-particularly the ability to clearly explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups. Additionally, the Principal BusinessAnalyst 2 helps guide less experienced analysts, contributes to the evolution of business analysis practices, and ensures business needs are translated effectively into measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Manage a team of Analysts
Drive business transformation initiatives through strategic analysis and planning
Partner with senior leaders to align SAP Modernization Program strategic goals with business objectives
Establish governance frameworks for business analysis and project execution
Evaluate and recommend enterprise technology solutions to improve performance
Manage high-impact projects, ensuring compliance with budget and timelines
Oversee reporting structures to measure success and identify areas for improvement
Leverage Existing Analytical Reporting tools to visually illustrate the health of a program

Job Specific Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
Strong proficiency with PowerBI

Job Summary
This role resides within the Payment Processing & Revenue Integrity department at PSEG Long Island. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the creation of daily, weekly or monthly reports and the analysis of data, ensuring accuracy and conducting further review as needed. This position will also be responsible to create and maintain databases, comprehensive reporting workbooks and various work management tools in support of department processes and goals.

GSOC Analyst Responsibilities:
The GSOC Analyst evaluates global dangers and their associated risks. Analyst will also complete operator duties. Monitor and evaluate reports and other data sources to detect potential threats and impacts to client business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create daily situation reports that support the client's global footprint. Create accurate analytical reports and presentations about results and recommendations for upper management. Respond quickly to security incidents and coordinate with the customer in accordance with established response standards.
* Monitoring access control system and resolving alarms
* Guarantee constant and effective security surveillance (camera monitoring)
* Facilitate escalation notifications and emergency messaging as needed
* Secure the safety of customers, premises, and assets
* Incident reporting across a range of conditions, including political unrest/instability, crime, terrorism, extreme weather or technical failures
* Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely response to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls for service
* Manage physical security and control functions at designated locations
* Analyzing evolving situations with tools and technologies such as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
* Create travel advisories, pre trip travel planning and post travel monitoring reports assessments.
* All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
* 2+ years relevant analytic/ops experience required, 3-5 years GSOC / Corporate intel / law enforcement / federal / military intel experience preferred
* Have or ability to obtain New Jersey Guard Card, already active preferred
* Proven intelligence writing sample(s) or work product (MUST provide writing sample to demonstrate analytic ability and writing skills prior to hire)
* Analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to prepare reports
* Experience with monitoring platforms (Dataminr / Meltwater / Babel Street / Ontic / AlertMedia) or SIEM/case management
* Experienced in producing and disseminating intelligence products
* Must have understanding of intelligence cycle, OSINT, and SOCMINT
* Must understand the concepts of source validation and corroboration
* Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems
* Demonstrate a high level of competency with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft suite, social media monitoring, etc.)
* Excellent ability to diagnose and troubleshoot risk assessment issues
* Skill in oral and written communication, including escalations to senior management
* Must be willing to undergo pre-employment processes such as Drug Testing and Background screening
* 18 years of age or older
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
* Experience as a Security/SOC analyst or comparable role in security administration preferred
* Knowledge of access control and software systems such as Lenel a plus

As a Dispatch Operator, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in a security operations center (SOC, GSOC, Command Center)
Qualifications of a GSOC Analyst
* You have a minimum of 1-year of experience in the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), central station monitoring operations, Dispatch or equivalent.
* You have a bachelor's degree or an associate degree with progressive experience preferred
* You have shift work experience in a 24-hour operation.
* If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!

Responsibilities of a GSOC Security Analyst
* Monitors for and identifies threats, trends, and incidents that could negatively impact the security of client personnel, facilities, operations, and reputation.
* Monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious activity.
* Dispatch security officers and field personnel via radio, phone, and other communication platforms.
* Maintain accurate logs of calls, incidents, and officer activity throughout the shift.
* Prioritize and coordinate responses to emergencies, alarms, and service requests.
* Assist with access control and provide support to on-site security teams.
* Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and employees in a professional manner.
* Prepare and submit daily reports detailing shift activity, incidents, and responses.
* Collaborate with supervisors and management to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
* Responsible for detailed report writing that will involve a general understanding of critical incident escalation.
* Handles sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision.
* Consults with all risk functions in the development and documentation of policies, procedures, and controls, for all department processes.
* Coordinates security guards and paid police details as needed.
* Actively monitors and facilitates the occurrence of security-related incidents.
* Assesses threats based on incoming data and makes decisions based on findings.
* Participates in numerous Physical Security projects including Physical Security technology, employee photo identification, card access, video monitoring, and retrieval.
* Monitors access control systems and acts in response to an alarm, breach, or malfunction.
* Appropriately responds to security operations notifications and requests made by internal and external parties.
* Liaises with emergency medical services, the fire department, and law enforcement in the event of an emergency.
* Supports onsite contract security staff.
* Conducts open-source research to answer specific questions and develops intelligence products.
Skills of a GSOC Security Analyst:
* Strong Customer service and communication; Call center/phone experience preferred.
* Previous experience in security, dispatch, or a related field preferred.
* Familiarity with CCTV monitoring and security operations.
* Experience with Genetec (or other access control/video management software) preferred but not required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
* Proficient in multitasking and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong documentation, investigative, and report-writing skills.
* Intermediate computer skills
* Google suite, Ontic, Motorola Wave, Genetec, and Oncloud preferred
* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to continuously perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment and respond quickly to sounds

* The ability to occasionally lift and/or carry weight under 25 lbs.
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions on a regular basis
* Ability to apply common sense reasoning to handle problems involving standardized situations
