**Job Summary**
The primary function of this position is to support NRG's generation fleet. Responsibilities include:
+ PowerGADS support, metric tracking, reporting and analysis,
+ Fleet financial and operational metric benchmarking,
+ Lost Margin Opportunity and Commercial Availability tracking and reporting,
+ Summarizing and presenting financial and operational data to executive management, and
+ Scope 1 & 2 sustainability support and reporting for the fleet.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**
Job responsibilities require cross functional training in Operations Planning & Analysis and Business Management.
**Operations Planning & Analysis**
+ Provide monthly PowerGADS support, event tracking and metric reporting,
+ Oversight of monthly PowerGADS close process, including manual imports and validation of data,
+ Upload of PowerGADS data to corresponding ISO and NERC, including seasonal capacity data,
+ Reconciliation of data across multiple systems, including generation data from the Settlements team,
+ Lead monthly PowerGADS user group call and provide training,
+ Work with Data & Analytics team to ensure accuracy of reliability dashboards,
+ Calculate, track and report on Lost Margin Opportunity and Commercial Availability,
+ Utilize multiple data sources to collect, consolidate and analyze plant data and disseminate information to meaningful reports and/or presentations to executive management,
+ Summarize and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metric reporting,
+ Utilize data sources for ad hoc reporting,
+ Design and implement tools, develop dashboards and visualizations to facilitate the timely communication and reporting of data that leads to more effective and efficient decision making,
+ Provide the required support for the filing of the 10Q and 10K reports, and
+ Provide the required support for annual Scope 1 and Scope 2 Sustainability reporting.
**Working Conditions**
+ Hybrid work environment with office opportunities in either Houston, Pittsburgh, or Princeton.

**Minimum Requirements**

The Natural Gas Trader will be responsible for identifying and transacting physical gas trading opportunities within the Gulf Coast, Midcon West and surrounding regions that enhance the portfolio and provide economic benefits to the company. This role involves analyzing market trends, executing trades, and developing strategies to maximize profitability while managing risk. The Manager, Enterprise Security Operations will be essential to the Enterprise Security function of a Fortune 500 company. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Security, Operations and Governance, this position will work primarily with our Generation Fleet to implement and drive strategic mitigations developed to maintain the comprehensive security protections of our critical infrastructure assets. This role will perform or assist in frequent assessments, identify areas for technological improvement, installation or augmentation of security services to improve site security. This role will leverage risk-based security standards and processes to ensure standards implementation at site. **Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Compile and supply data for entry into compliance and metrics reports for all applicable security & crisis management requirements.

Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring and validating ISO settlement data, interpreting ISO rules to ensure optimal collection of revenues, identifying inaccuracies, analysis of energy trading activities, and associated regulatory reports.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all reconciliation, data entry, validation and responding to all ISO discrepancies for generation meter data on a daily/monthly basis.
* Responsible for reconciliation, analysis, and validation of ISO settlement statements.
* Work closely with the power trading desks, regulatory affairs personnel, and FERC legal counsel in reconciling internal and external financial settlement requests.
* Assist in creating and developing reports for the accounting team and various level of management.
* Consistently understand, analyze and review changes to ISO market rules.
* Using knowledge of market rules and pending changes, work closely with other regional accounting personnel to ensure that revenue recognition and expense recognition is accurately reflected in the financial accounts and in a timely manner.
* Responsible for organizing, validating and submitting EIA monthly/annual reports and FERC Electric Quarterly Reports (EQR), working with generation stations, legal counsel and support staff.
* Assist in creating and developing spreadsheets, data retrieval tools and macros for ISO settlements, EIA reporting, FERC EQR and generation optimization.
* Comply with Sarbanes Oxley Sec. 404 legislation as it relates to the work processes for Financial Reporting and Regional Accounting department
* Additional duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
* Open office environment.
* Some overtime required as special projects arise.
* Travel (add % of time or minimal, etc.)
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field of study.
* Advanced MS Excel modeling skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Energy/ISO experience a plus but not required.
* Basic database use skills preferred.

* Must be an initiative-taker, possess good planning, organization, and communication skills.
