As a Senior Project Manager - Water Infrastructure, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise to provide management and oversight of all design aspects of Water and Wastewater Conveyance projects, while understanding client goals, establishing effective client relationships, and supporting the team to achieve set goals.
Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure
Prominent role with business development efforts and pursuit planning, including negotiation of contracts, presentations, proposals, RFPs and RFQs
Be responsible for overall management of multiple projects and utilize experience to organize and execute the technical quality and coordination of a broad range of assignments
Possess expert technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within Water/Sewer discipline
Manage and mentor team members and coordinate with supervisors to provide all necessary design, coordination, and follow-up work to ensure agency requirements and quality standards are met
Oversee preparation of plans, as week as the development of planning studies, technical reports, calculations, cost/quantity estimates, and specifications in order to provide clear, traceable, and coordinated interpretation of the design/drawings for construction
Lead site visits, client meetings, and QA/QC
Lead coordination with agencies for obtaining permitting approvals and be familiar with local regulatory requirements and procedures
Prepare schedule, budget, scope of services, preparing and collecting additional services, and budget monitoring
Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure
BS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
California Professional Engineer (PE) license
A minimum of 15+ years requiring project management experience in the design of water resources infrastructure projects
Strong business development, team building and operational skills
Successful track record in managing and completing water/wastewater engineering projects in California
Design of pipelines, pump stations, water production wells, reservoir facilities, and lift stations
Experience in providing direct supervision of engineers and designers
Experience in writing technical specifications, preparation of engineer's estimates, project scheduling and proposal writing

This position offers the flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of in-office and remote work schedules and can be based from any location where AECOM has an office.
Job Summary:
The Transportation Digital Delivery Manager will be the primary technical contact for the delivery of major transport projects across Enterprise Capabilities (EC) Digital. This will include all Enterprise Critical Pursuits and Tier 2 projects that EC Digital take on.
As AECOM moves to standardize how our largest projects are delivered, this role will take on various responsibilities, such as determining project delivery strategy for all transport projects through to development and implementation of technical processes and standards.
The Transportation Digital Delivery Manager will be joined by other Global Business Line specific digital implementation leads that will form part of the wider Delivery Planning and Assurance team (DPA) in EC Digital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determining the technology stack to be used to deliver projects, from the standardized Cornerstone tool sets
* Determining project data standard requirements to be implemented on projects
* Outlining the digital production processes to be used by project delivery teams
* Working with Planning to identify suitable resources and outline project programs
* Working with Assurance to proactively monitor projects during delivery, to ensure they continuously meet all quality metrics

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience working on delivery of large, complex transportation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
5 years working in a digital leadership role in a large engineering organization
Thorough understanding of Industry-standard platforms (Autodesk, Bentley, GIS platforms).
Thorough understanding of industry standard project delivery authoring technologies and their application to engineering design and/or construction.
Extensive experience with the Bentley delivery suite, and experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
Thorough understanding of international standards such as ISO 19650 and how they are applied within various Common Data Environment (CDE) technologies

Project management skills, with a focus on integrating digital into, planning, delivery, or operations

Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of transportation infrastructure programs, including alternative delivery projects (DB, PDB or CMGC). Qualifications

- Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
- Expertise in Project management including, team leadership, resource management, scheduling, project controls, reporting and document controls.

- Project management experience in leading projects utilizing various delivery models such as EPC (Engineer Procure Construct), DBB (Design Bid Build), ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) etc.
- Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering services related to energy projects.
- Experience in business development, proposal, and budget development.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work across multiple offices and geographies.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify when a project is in trouble (e.g., deviations from baseline scope, schedule, or budget) and ability to take corrective action to address the problem.
- Ability to travel to US and Canadian offices and client sites, as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizations skills and aptitude for problem solving.
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 platform including Teams and SharePoint with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel would being beneficial.

Education and Experience
- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering disciplines, or related fields.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, and/or as a "seller-doer".
- Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred, but not required.

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
