4. Receives medical supervision from psychiatric consultants consistent with applicable standards and scope of practice.

Qualifications:
Desirable candidates must possess extensive knowledge of: the etiology of a variety of mental illnesses, as well as developmental and substance misuse disorders and their treatment, by a variety of appropriate therapeutic interventions. These include psychopharmacology, nursing practice and medical evaluation, physical diseases and their treatment, community resource utilization and networking techniques, and understanding of psychiatric emergency management procedures. + There will be an adjunct faculty appointment to the General Surgery Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital, and you will be expected to participate in both operative education and didactic education of residents and medical students.
+ There will be expectations of limited, after-hours General Surgery Acute Care call along with our GME faculty surgeons at Saint Joseph Hospital. There is no trauma call responsibility.

+ ACGME and Society of Surgical Oncology approved fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology
+ Minimum 3 years of post-fellowship experience in hepatobiliary surgical oncology

+ Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

* Speech - Medical staff must have the ability to speak and understand English clearly within normal parameters. Constantly uses voice to communicate with other officers, professionals, prisoners, and the public in person and by telephone and two-way radio. Clear diction and audible volume is required.
* Body Movement - Medical staff must have mobility of both arms and legs with the ability to move around the work area unassisted. Must be able to walk quickly and climb stairs. Must have the ability and range of flexibility to reach overhead, reach below knees, and to bend over or squat down to perform job functions. Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
