Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapeutics, and therapies within the collaborative agreement established with a physician(s) collaborator and based on established competencies. Evaluates and analyzes customers' responses to disease processes and therapeutic interventions, and determines the effectiveness of care and the need to alter the plan of care. Communicates effectively with customers' families and other key customer groups. Presents selected customer assessments, diagnoses and plans of care during medical team conferences and/or rounds. Collaborates with members of the health care team to implement and evaluate holistic customer care delivery.
