The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function as an integral member of the surgical team, providing advanced practitioner support in the pre- and post-operative settings, inpatient/outpatient care areas and operating room. The provider will work closely with surgeons, residents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. This position will be somewhat specialty-specific, focusing on assigned surgical subspecialties, but will also require cross-training to provide coverage in the absence of residents or a surgeon's primary physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
