The Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant to manage the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of the PepsiCo Chicago Plant in Illinois. The position reports directly to the Central Regional Coordinator for the PepsiCo/JHU partnership. The position also works closely with the Executive Director and Division Administrator of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Provide on-site services forty (40) hours per week at the PepsiCo clinic in Chicago, IL.
Triage and treat, as appropriate, minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
Dispense over-the-counter and prescription medications in accordance with pre-established standing orders to employees with minor work-related and non-work-related concerns (back pain, headache, pharyngitis).
Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees presenting lab orders from their PCP.
Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing in accordance with company protocol.
Provide onsite assessment for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
Provide support and case management for both work-related and non-work-related conditions for the purposes of reducing illness and absenteeism.
Coordinate second opinions for employees absent due to workers' compensation or disability, as necessary in adherence with company protocols.
Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.
Coordinate and plan monthly health education seminars and general wellness events.
Provide on-site patient education regarding illnesses, medication, treatments, etc.
Work collaboratively with patients and their PCP/Specialist to facilitate early diagnosis and management of acute and chronic health problems.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Psychiatric-Mental Health NursePractitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about delivering high-quality psychiatric care and is excited to grow with us. Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric assessments and prescribe/manage psychotropic medications for Tides clients
Collaborate with our team of therapists to ensure coordinated, client-centered care
Maintain thorough and timely documentation using our EHR system
Contribute to the development of an integrated care model that supports holistic wellness
Qualifications:
Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioner (PMHNP) by the Illinois Board of Nursing
Full practice authority (FPA) or collaborative relationship in place with a physician
Valid DEA and NPI numbers
Previous experience in a psychiatric, mental health and/or outpatient setting
Individual liability insurance preferred but not required

Job Summary: The Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioner provides comprehensive mental health care to patients across the lifespan. * Maintain patient care hours at designated site as determined by the Manager of Psychiatric Care and Chief Medical Officer. Follow PCC's policies for scheduling, access, chart documentation and availability for communication regarding clinical matters during regular business hours.
* Patient volume expectation is 7 to 8 patients scheduled per 4-hour clinical session. Number of sessions worked is based on FTE status (e.g. 1.0 FTE = 8 clinical sessions, 2 admin sessions).
* The number of sessions per week may be modified based upon clinic need, supervision commitments, etc. Modifications are approved by the Manager of Psychiatric Care or Chief Medical Officer.
* Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients across the lifespan.
* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices and
regulatory standards.
* Participate in monthly individual and/or group supervision from a Board Certified Psychiatrist.
* Provide care via telehealth platforms as needed, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Demonstrates ability to provide consultation and academic support to primary care providers in
the areas of behavioral medicine.
* Demonstrates ability to utilize evidence based practices in the provision of behavioral
medicine.
* Demonstrates ability to integrate quality improvement measures into clinical practice.
* Demonstrates ability to provide mental health consultation and medication management
including:
* Bio-psycho-social assessment that results in diagnostic conclusions
* Treatment planning and expected outcomes in alignment with patient identified problem and diagnosis
* Demonstrates ability to perform crisis intervention that is needed for the patient.
