The position also works closely with the Executive Director and Division Administrator of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Provide on-site services forty (40) hours per week at the PepsiCo clinic in Chicago, IL.
Triage and treat, as appropriate, minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
Dispense over the counter and prescription medications in accordance with pre-established standing orders to employees with minor work-related and non-work-related concerns (back pain, headache, pharyngitis).
Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees presenting lab orders from their PCP.
Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing in accordance with company protocol.
Provide onsite assessment for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
Provide support and case management for both work-related and non-work-related conditions for the purposes of reducing illness and absenteeism.
Coordinate second opinions for employees absent due to workers' compensation or disability, as necessary in adherence with company protocols.
Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.

Qualifications
Required:
Master?s degree from an accredited school/college of nursing OR master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APRN Board. Once licensed may apply for a controlled substance license and DEA number OR Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program/Current license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois. Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is currently hiring a NursePractitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) at Resurrection Medical Center to support our cardiology team! This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac care setting alongside board-certified cardiologists, providing outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Position Details:
Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group.
Full time | Dayshift schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm
Limited weekends or call
Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations
Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-MI care
Assist with medication management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education
Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans
Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care

Qualifications
Current NursePractitioner or Physician Assitant license in Illinois
