During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member's current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. About us: Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding with construction scheduled to be completed in June 2025 adding an additional 84 beds. When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.
About the Position: Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Clinical Services department is hiring for a NursePractitioner that would aid in the diagnosis and prevention of diseases which includes mental illness; supervise, monitor and modify treatment and discharge planning, as authorized, acts as a direct representative of the physician in conjoint efforts, acts as clinical supervisor and serves as health administrator in the administrator's absence and supervises implementation of treatment plans.

Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Hourly payrate: $69.71/hr

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, recognition as a certified Advanced Practice Nurse by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, and three years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Note: Approval for prescriptive authority requires current licensure in Oklahoma as a Registered Nurse and as a Certified NursePractitioner (CNP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) within 30 calendars days of the entry-on-duty date. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse must hold a graduate degree at an advanced practice level or a post-master's certificate at an advanced practice level if the master's degree is in nursing, in order to be eligible for initial application for prescriptive authority.
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.

KSAs required include: the knowledge, skills, and ability to analyze complex health concerns and issues, including the evaluation of adherence to established health care standards and the effectiveness of health management plans and/or programs and recommending changes or revisions.
Employees have a high degree of independence in planning and completing work assignments and may function as the lead person on some special projects. Also requires professional nursing knowledge in reviewing, auditing, and analyzing nursing and healthcare services provided by direct care providers to insure that the appropriate healthcare resources are used at the appropriate level to meet the health care needs of clients.
