Ability to interpret FHR and perform ultrasound procedures
Comfort handling emergent GYN surgeries and OB emergencies
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on call
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with VBAC management
Prior work in critical access or rural hospital settings
Skills in supervising or assisting with OB procedures when needed
Familiarity with Epic EMR system
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
At least 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience, including high-volume deliveries
Experience working in hospital and clinic environments with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
Availability for 6-8 call shifts per month, with a 30-minute response time
Willingness to work in a 24-hour call schedule, including weekends and holidays
Credentialing at multiple facilities with a deadline of three weeks prior to start
Travel and lodging arrangements; local preferred, with options for hotels or Airbnbs
Must have current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Ability to work independently in a variety of obstetric and gynecologic procedures

Position Overview
We are a well-established and busy physician and midwife women's health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our group consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNM's and 2 APP's. We also have support from 6 MFM, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists. We provide evidenced-based women's healthcare services to Federal Way and surrounding communities. Our practices are strategically located near the hospitals from which we practice.
Candidates must be hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing superior patient care.
Our group enjoys a mix of both gynecology and obstetrics - including high-risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. We offer comprehensive pregnancy care with in-office ultrasound as well as support from Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and MIGS. All of our providers enjoy a 4 day work week with 5-6 calls per month. We have OB hospitalist coverage for OB triage, OB emergencies and ED calls.
Our group serves in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country. Living in the Puget Sound Region provides for active city life, but still offers plenty of outdoor adventures. You can choose between city living and the suburbs.
Compensation range of $325,030 - $481,800 is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Hospital Overview
St. Francis Hospital is a 124 bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Federal Way, WA. The state of the art birth center has 22 beds and there is 24/7 in house Anesthesia coverage. St. Francis has a 6 bed Level II Special Care Nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks. Our partner facility, St. Joseph Medical Center has a Level III NICU and is in close proximity for transfers if needed. We also have a partnership with Seattle Children's for specialty newborn care if needed. Our group does approximately 120 deliveries per month. St. Francis has achieved Baby Friendly designation as well as recognition by the International Lactation Consultant Association for excellence in lactation care. For gynecologic surgeries, you will have access to 3 XI da Vinci robot surgical systems with block time.

The APP will work collaboratively with cardiothoracic surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in the ambulatory setting. This role will also support the aneurysm clinic and lung nodule clinic.
FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 8am-5pm (no call, no weekends, no holidays)
Base compensation: $136,961.00 - 183,447.00 plus performance bonus
