1. Monitors level of prescription medication available to clients

10. Coordinates laboratory testing services as follows: (a) identify clients in need of laboratory testing, (b) prepare laboratory slips to request testing services, (c) receive and evaluate laboratory testing results, (d) document results accordingly.
11. Performs Pre-Admission Screening functions.
12. Performs the admission and discharge nursing assessment on assigned patients, including appropriate and timely charting and filing.
13. Conducts and records health assessment screening on all admissions.
14. Participates in multi-disciplinary staffing and clinical team meetings.
15. Provides consultation to staff and clients about medical questions and/or concerns and assist staff in planning and implementing appropriate medical interventions.

About the role
As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. The role can be both challenging and rewarding, which is why we offer a tailored training programme to help you thrive. You'll begin with 6 weeks of training before assessing customers and have ongoing support and mentorship in your role with us.
Duties and responsibilities
Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
Produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits
Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
Requirements
Valid NMC registration number
At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
Excellent oral and written communication skills
