Job Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Masters in Nursing from a nationally accredited university. Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Michigan. Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): State of Michigan license to practice as a nurse practitioner. State of Michigan Controlled Substance License. A Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (for schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5) from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States Department of Justice. A valid Driver's License with a safe and acceptable driving record. Experience Requirements: Five (5) years of professional clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or mental health setting. Preferred Requirements: Completion of a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program and PMHMP-BC Certification is preferred.
