Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic procedures. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physicians. - Provide care and support in both Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology - Assist in the OR approximately 1 day out of each week if of interest (if the OR is not of interest the position can be 100% in clinic) - Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care. - Assist in the coordination of care, including collaboration with other healthcare providers and ancillary services. - Perform procedures such as biopsies, Pap smears, and other gynecologic examinations. - Provide surgical assistance in gynecologic procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care. - Conduct hereditary genetic counseling for patients at risk for familial cancers - Evaluate and manage patients with urogynecologic conditions, such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent UTIs (provide acute UTI visits) - Responsible for follow up visits, acute/same-day visits, well woman examinations - Potential opportunity in the future to assist in chemotherapy care for gynecologic oncology patients - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record.
