1. Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PMHNP) to join our mental health practice. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with therapists and other providers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other behavioral health concerns.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
Develop and implement individualized medication management plans.
Monitor treatment response, side effects, and adherence, making adjustments as needed.
Educate patients and families on psychiatric medications, potential side effects, and treatment expectations.
Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and school-based professionals when appropriate.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Provide crisis intervention support as needed.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted APRN or PMHNP license in the state of Connecticut.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required.
Ability to practice independently (must not require MD collaboration in the state of Connecticut).
Valid and current DEA registration.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

Contract Description
COMPENSATION: 1099 Procedure case based compensation agreement

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting Surgeons during surgical procedures
Performing minor surgical procedures under the direction of the surgeon based on training and state regulations
Monthly submission of case work for payment to payroll
Work Schedule:
2-3 Days per week depending on surgeons case load
No call or weekends
Requirements
Required Qualification:
Recent experience assisting in Operating Rooms with Robots
Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited surgically focused PA Program
Completion of a surgical residency for PAs (after attending PA school)
On the job training (after graduating from an ARC-PA accredited Program)
Able to obtain credentialing in hospitals where Surgeon will operate
Relevant State (see location) Medical License
3+ Years of experience

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license

Preferred experience in cardiology: training provided

Must have great organizational and time management skills.
