Your Qualifications: Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHNP A minimum of 4 years' post grad experience practicing as a PMHNP, preferably in a telehealth setting; Prior RN experience in psychiatry/behavior health is a plus! Ability to obtain and maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number. We can assist in obtaining licensure as needed. Please note, we evaluate all applications but will prioritize those applicants who have licensure in markets where we have active needs, and/or the ability to obtain autonomous licensure. You must also have demonstrated: Experience administering initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, medication management, as well as psychoeducation/supportive therapy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs mental status and/or other medical examinations in collaboration with the psychiatrist. Medical examinations include those for persons admitted to the agency's crisis stabilization program within one business day of their admission. Diagnose illnesses and carries out the necessary medical or psychiatric treatment program for adolescents and adults served by the agency, including assessment and induction of medication for opioid use disorders-excluding methadone. Provides technical supervision of direct treatment services performed by other service providers. Provides consultation, education and training services to individuals and agencies. Provides crisis intervention/emergency services, sharing on-call responsibilities with other prescribers in order to provide necessary coverage during nights, weekends and holidays.
