PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY: A well-regarded, full-service general, medical and surgical community hospital is seeking to recruit a total of 4 to 5 Internists, Family Medicine physicians, and Hospitalists. These excellent opportunities are due to growth and expansion and trying to meet the demands and needs of their growing community. The Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians will both be given a choice: (A) 100% outpatient, (B) Mixture of Outpatient and Inpatient, or (C) 100% Hospitalist. Hospitalists who have Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residencies will both be accepted and welcome to apply. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are both available. Work Schedules: Flexible work schedules available regarding all three positions. They will all be fully discussed. Outpatient Option:There is no call. It is hospital based. Mixture of Outpatient and Inpatient Option:No call. Hospital based. Hospitalist Option regarding Work Schedule and Hours: This hospital is very flexible regarding offering choices concerning the shift schedule and hours. It can be 7 days on and 7 days off. They can also offer a choice of an 8-hour or 12-hour shift schedule. It will depend on what the Internist and/or the Family Medicine Hospitalists need or would like to have. The new Hospitalists must be comfortable doing codes and working in the ICU as the primary attending with Pulmonary/Critical Care consultant co-management. This hospital currently has an active Hospitalist program in place which currently includes seven Hospitalists. HOSPITAL: The hospital that they admit to is full-service and well-regarded general, medical and surgical community hospital. It is one of the area's leading providers of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient community-based diagnostics, home health services and rehabilitation programs for all ages. It is well known for excellence in cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, diagnostics and rehabilitation services. It offers a full range of acute, ambulatory and emergency services. Their emergency services department is equipped to handle all types of emergencies from pediatric to geriatric care. They have a free standing surgery center and six ambulatory sites. Availability: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Hospitalist physicians who are fresh out of training and those who have prior work experience are all welcome to apply and will all be seriously considered for years 2025 and 2026! FINANCIAL COMPENSATION: The starting base salary range for the Internist, Family Medicine physician, and/or Hospitalist is from $275,000 to $350,000. This will be fully discussed with each physician.
