The position reports directly to the Central Regional Coordinator for the PepsiCo/JHU partnership. The position also works closely with the Executive Director and Division Administrator of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees presenting lab orders from their PCP. Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing in accordance with company protocol. Provide onsite assessment for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia. This position is intended for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who will join a multidisciplinary child and adolescent psychiatry department in a nationally ranked, freestanding children's hospital located on the medical school campus. Responsibilities of this position include 1: providing direct clinical care to children and adolescents receiving care on medical and surgical inpatient services as well as outpatient clinics at Lurie Children's, where palliative care as well as both acute and chronic pain are a focus of the clinical care 2: Teaching and mentoring in multidisciplinary child health and mental health training programs 3: engagement in research or other scholarly activities as well as sharing in the on-call coverage within the inpatient psychiatry program. This position is expected to be 80% Clinical and 20% Research, which can be negotiated depending on grant activity and funding. Qualified candidates will have experience and have excelled in teaching with a commitment to participating in an academic medical center environment.
