    Job Details Addiction Medication Outreach Response - Phoenix, AZ Full Time Health CareDescription The Psychiatrist is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive interventions that promote functional improvement and minimize psychological and/or psychosocial barriers to the management of health problems. This role is also responsible for managing the pharmacotherapeutic treatment for psychiatric and behavioral disorders. The Psychiatrist works as part of the care team, which can include primary care providers, psychiatric consultants, case managers, patient navigators, nurses, and medical assistants. The psychiatrist will work with the primary care physicians in performing the assessments required by regulators, payor, and licensing bodies for the patients for which Circle the City has assumed care. The Psychiatrist will assist in identifying gaps and opportunities related to expanding services to patients. Depending on the position, the work site may be in a primary care clinic, a medical respite center, a medical mobile unit, a street medicine team, or with a partner organization. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, using a combination of psychotherapy, medications, and other therapeutic approaches.
