Provider's Role with the Company:
Location: Indiana, PA
Seeking a psychiatrist to join an existing group for the expansion of a new inpatient facility.
The state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24 bed adult unit and 12 bed geropsychiatry unit.
The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education.
The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns.
A psychiatric residency program will be initiated once the hospital is built. An ECT program will be added.The psychiatrist will be evaluating and treating a general adult population.
Anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day.
Weekday call is currently being handled. Weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8.
This will involve rounding on the inpatient units and seeing psychiatry consults in the Medical Center. Suboxone certification is preferred but not required.
There is a robust multidisciplinary opioid narcotic recovery program using medically assisted treatment.
Conceivably, 1/2-day out of the week could be spent treating this population.

MyAdvisor (a division of Three Wire Systems) is working with the VA to provide Disability Evaluations to Veterans regarding TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) claims. We are looking to partner with consultants (on a 1099 basis) to complete these exams which must be done in person.
We have a need in 48 out of 50 states so please apply and we'll reach out with a location near you.
JOB SUMMARY
These exams are one time appointments that involve no treatment, follow-up exams and/or writing of prescriptions. Depending on the specialty exam required these exams can range 60-90 minutes. Focus will be placed on TBI exams.
Appointments are scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days ahead of time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complete psychiatric examination. Services provided include: review of medical records, prior to examination, conduct history and examination, and interpret all clinical data.
Provide a signed examination report. Report to include corroborating histories, physical findings, results of all diagnostic tests performed and diagnoses completed as required by the associated Disability Benefits Questionnaire(s) (DBQs).
Conduct individual evaluations, up to 7 per day; 60 to 90 minutes each
Submit signed report package upon completion.

Psychiatrists, Physiatrists, Neurologists or Neurosurgeons
Unrestricted, independent licensure is required
Minimum Experience: Relevant work with military population preferred.
Minimum Education/Training/License Requirements: Only physicians specializing in Psychiatry degree with a full, clear, active and unrestricted state license and who have been pre-paneled and pre-approved may perform psychiatric examinations.

Provide supervision and direction to registered nurses or certified nurse practitioners regarding prescriptions, orders, lab orders or medication side effects/interactions.
Acts as a liaison and consult with hospitals, community agencies, and families to maintain coordination through the treatment process.
Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of each individual on the team that captures psychiatric history, risk assessment, functional assessment, and recommendations.
Provide on-call consultation to the team after hours associated with symptom management and psychiatric conditions.

The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a recovery-oriented approach to supporting youth and adults who are diagnosed with both a mental illness and an intellectual disability. This program offers a comprehensive team approach to mental health treatment and service coordination for individuals with behavioral health challenges who have not progressed in their recovery after receiving more traditional behavioral health services.
