Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
2. State licensure to practice optometry.
3. Five (5) years of clinical experience as an optometrist.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Anesthetic patient management must be immediate and responsive. Flexibility and adaptability are required.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
A CRNA must be able to demonstrate intellectual-conceptual, integrative and quantitative abilities; skills in observation, communication and motor functions; and mature behavioral and social attributes. Sensory- CRNA must be able to detect and interpret changes in monitoring alarms and equipment. Functional vision, hearing. no impairment of sense of smell and tactile sensation must be adequate. CRNA must be able to observe a patient accurately at a distance and close.Communication-CRNA should be able to speak, hear and observe. CRNA must be able to communicate effectively- includes speech, reading and writing.Motor -CRNA should have sufficient motor function to elicit pertinent information. CRNAs should be able to stand for long periods of time and wear lead as needed for fluoroscopy, X-Ray cases. CRNAs must have the ability to lift 25 pounds and reach above and below shoulder height. Intellectual-Conceptual, Integrative and Quantitative Abilities-Abilities include measurement, calculation, reasoning, analysis and synthesis. Problem-solving, the critical skill demanded requires all of these intellectual abilities. CRNA should be able to comprehend 3-dimensional relationships and understand the spatial relationships. Job Description
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Providence RI, is recruiting a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist hospitalist to oversee the solid tumor teaching service at Rhode Island Hospital, the major teaching hospital of Brown University. The hospitalist will work days, Monday - Friday, every other week. All patients will be on the house staff teaching service and there will be no overnight responsibilities. Weekend coverage is approximately once every 2 months. There is a strong opportunity to be involved in clinical research. The successful candidate will be eligible for a Brown University academic appointment.
