MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

* Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Residency Program.
Licenses or Certifications

The objective of this contract is to obtain all infrastructure, including temporary housing structures, physical plant, staffing, resources, services, and supplies necessary to house aliens in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a safe and secure environment.
International SOS is looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for detainees, ensuring they receive appropriate care while addressing the unique challenges of a correctional environment. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to promote mental well-being, manage psychiatric conditions, and facilitate crisis intervention when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques.
Performs psychiatric evaluations for detainees via onsite and telepsychiatry services for scheduled appointments, emergency, or urgent care visits.
Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions and has clinical privileges to practice including diagnostic assessments, medication evaluation and management, suicide risk assessments, crisis interventions.
The Psychiatrist may serve as a mental health team leader with responsibilities for coordinating consults and triage.
Participates effectively in team meetings and treatment planning.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members which enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care.
Orders diagnostic tests and consultations and discriminates between normal and abnormal findings and makes appropriate treatment decisions.

Basic Requirements/Certifications:
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior Psych Care provides fully integrative behavioral health services to the long term care patient, at their facility. Physicians are responsible for comprehensive assessment and treatment of persons whose lives are impacted by cognitive conditions, mental health issues (depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, Alzheimer's, Dementia), or a declining capacity to function independently. Duties include (but aren't limited to) completing cognitive and mental health evaluations; prescribing psychotropic medications when appropriate; completing timely and accurate charting.
Collaborating Physician will be responsible for performing outpatient care, billing, coding and documenting under the professional standards set forth by the AMA code of medical ethics. Physician will collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician's Assistants) This position requires an individual with a Texas medical license and completion of course of study from an accredited university and/or designated medical program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:
* Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
* Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
* Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
* Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
* Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
* Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
* Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
* Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:
* 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college
