Completes required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner. Prepares and maintains complete and accurate charts, case files and records.
Collaborate on care delivery by 1) including staff, other physicians, and management in both service and patient care improvements; 2) treating all teammates with respect; 3) demonstrating the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct; and 4) behaving in a manner consistent with company mission and values 5) establishing and maintaining contact with referring providers both within that outside of the system 6) establishing and maintaining contact with family members and patient s support persons when appropriate.
Advocate for patients including providing consistent and timely documentation regarding the patients need for level of care and participating in insurance peer reviews to optimize optimal length of stay for treatment.

What you ll be doing:
Psychiatrists lead multidisciplinary treatment teams. They diagnose illnesses, prescribe, and administer treatment for people suffering from psychiatric disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Psychiatrists meet regularly with patients, prescribe psychotropic medications, provide psychotherapies, determine appropriate level of care and advocate for patient s best treatment options within health care systems. Essential Duties:
Direct Patient Care Duties:
Focus on Superior Patient Care by 1) practicing evidence-based, high quality psychiatric medicine; 2) encouraging increased patient understanding, involvement in care, and treatment decisions; 3) achieving and maintaining optimal patient access to care; 4) supporting system efforts towards care improvements, standardization of care, implementation of care guidelines and clinical outcomes research
Typical patient load for full time psychiatrists includes an average of 18-24 patients per week, caseload increases when working with a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Inpatients are generally seen by psychiatrists daily; Residential and PHP patients are generally seen by psychiatrists twice weekly.
Completes required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner. Prepares and maintains complete and accurate charts, case files and records.
Collaborate on care delivery by 1) including staff, other physicians, and management in both service and patient care improvements; 2) treating all teammates with respect; 3) demonstrating the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct; and 4) behaving in a manner consistent with company mission and values 5) establishing and maintaining contact with referring providers both within that outside of the system 6) establishing and maintaining contact with family members and patient s support persons when appropriate.
Advocate for patients including providing consistent and timely documentation regarding the patient's need for level of care and participating in insurance peer reviews to optimize optimal length of stay for treatment.

Overlake Clinics is expanding our Hospitalist program and seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join our dedicated Hospitalist team.
In this position, you will be an essential part of our 24/7 onsite Hospitalist team, focused predominantly on the care of patients in our Short Stay (Observation) Unit.
Position Details:
Part-time
Primary focus on providing exceptional care of Short Stay Unit patients
Perform admissions from ED, including treatment plan development and note creation, as well as rounding and discharging.
No procedures required
24/7 in-house Physician Hospitalist support and 24/7 in-house Intensivists available
Qualifications:
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Current WA NP or PA license
Current DEA
Current ACLS certification
Three years of hospital inpatient experience strongly preferred

Providence Medical Group is actively seeking a full-time Cardiology Hospitalist to join its legacy practice, Providence Cardiology Associates, located in the scenic state capital of Olympia. Provide inpatient consultative cardiology services at Providence St. Peter Hospital, a nearly 400-bed facility with a 150-year legacy. This well-established and high-volume practice has been serving a five-county region in South Puget Sound for nearly 50 years.
Position Details:
+ Full-time position
+ Inpatient hospitalist schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
+ No evenings or weekends
+ Holiday coverage is rotated
+ Join a highly collegial team of 12 cardiologists and advanced practice providers (APPs) in a supportive, quality-focused environment
+ Work within a busy practice covering the hospital offering a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, with opportunities for complex case management
+ Collaborate with thriving interventional, structural, and electrophysiology programs, as well as strong cardiothoracic and vascular surgical teams
+ Responsibilities include consultative cardiology, cardioversions, and ED support. Patients requiring intervention are referred to the on-call interventional cardiologist
+ The team has two inpatient APPs to support the inpatient service
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Compensation is between $400, 636 and $642,416 per year
