**POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:**
- **Education:** Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- **Board Certification:** Board certification in neuro-optometry required. Must have active ABCMO certification in medical optometry including specialization in ocular disease, retinal disease, and glaucoma.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted state license to practice as a Neuro-Optometrist.
- **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- **Experience:** As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in credentialing instruction.
- **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizen required.
- **Security:** Must possess and maintain Tier III security investigation.

- Document and close notes in MHS Genesis within three (3) business days of patient encounters.
- Respond to beneficiary messages in MHS Genesis secure portal within one (1) business day.
**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:**
Must be comfortable working with complex TBI cases involving unprecedented traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and pain. Must possess knowledge of Dragon dictation software, MHS Genesis, and Microsoft Office programs. Your Role:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams using innovative technology, both onsite and through our patented hybrid platform.
Diagnose ocular conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
Educate patients on preventative eye care, including the importance of:
Regular annual eye exams
Sun protection for eye health
Proper contact lens care and wearing current prescription glasses
Maintain all necessary state licensure and malpractice insurance.
