We are hiring a full time clinical psychologist to perform medical disability exams (also known as compensation and pension C&P exams) for Veterans at our Rome, NY location as well as telehealth exams. Low stress job with no calls. All exams must be performed by a state licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist with a PhD or a PsyD and have graduated from an APA accredited school. New York state license is required. Hours: full-time 40 hours a week, in-person + telehealth exams Pay range: $130,000-$150,000 annually, with PTO, 7 paid holidays, health insurance, dental / vision, and other benefits. Length: 6-12 months (option to extend) Location: Orchard Park, NY Pay: TOP HOURLY RATE Contract Description/Overview: Your services support the Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disabilities Examinations program. Veterans are scheduled for appointments at contracted facilities for compensation and pension exams and embeds practitioners in facilities as needs warrant. Dedicated facilities are in areas where there is a large Veteran population with the potential for high volume. The compensation and pension exam helps the VA answer questions about Veterans' current health. The practitioners will not decide the percent of disability or rating, develop treatment plans, or prescribe medication.
