Regional Neonatal Follow up Program seeks one per diem Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in early childhood development, and the administration of neurodevelopmental testing for this age group (0-3 years). Fluent in Spanish preferred. Primary Responsibility: Administering, scoring and interpreting the results of the Bayley Scales of Infant & Toddler Development 3rd edition (BSID 3RD ed) and or 4th edition (BSID IV) for children seen within our program. Flexibility to expand proficiency of testing expertise utilizing other diagnostic kits such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second edition would be preferred. Our program does participate in NIH as well as industry sponsored research with long term outcomes utilizing tools such as the BSID 3rd ed included in the study protocol, to be performed by the successful candidate. Patient Population: Primarily two and three-year-old term and preterm children who were formerly admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after birth. These children were identified as being at increased risk for neurodevelopmental impairment. Locations and Scheduling: In person testing will be performed at one of our four outpatient clinic locations in Westchester NY, Middletown NY, Rockland NY, and Poughkeepsie NY.
