We are seeking a dedicated psychologist to join our team, offering a mix of telehealth and in-person appointments. In this role, you will:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing intellectual and neuropsychological testing.
Measure and interpret test results, designing protocols to monitor clients' neurocognitive and emotional status.
Perform screenings and evidence-based outpatient evaluations for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders, providing timely feedback to families.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record, including writing letters, notes, and formal reports on client contacts.
Communicate client progress via phone and electronic medical record as appropriate.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conducting 4-6 tests per week with a typical intake and feedback timeframe of 4-6 weeks.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist in your practicing state.
Prior testing experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
A desire to work with children is essential; no prior experience necessary as training will be available.
Experience with ASD is a plus, but not required.
Bonus Plan: Psychologists can earn a monthly bonus of $600-$1,200 based on the average number of developmental and complex assessments completed.

Position Summary
The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program has a position for a Psychologist/Clinical Faculty. The selected candidate will hold a faculty position as Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (fixed-term faculty) commensurate with experience in the Department of Psychiatry, UNC School of Medicine. Positions are potentially available at any of our locations across North Carolina: Asheville, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Raleigh, and Wilmington.
Clinical Faculty at TEACCH engage in a combination of clinical, research, and teaching activities. Clinical opportunities include maintaining a diagnostic and treatment caseload of autistic clients across the lifespan consistent with faculty expertise. Teaching opportunities include supervising trainees, providing consultation, and training of other professionals locally, nationally, and internationally. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Completion of an APA-accredited Ph.D./PsyD in clinical, school, or related doctoral program, and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Candidates must be licensed or licensed eligible as a psychologist in the state of North Carolina. Candidates must have previous clinical training and experience in the assessment and treatment of autistic individuals. Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in psychology (e.g. Ph.D., Psy.D.) from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or an equivalent accrediting body recognized by the Virginia licensing board, as required for licensure eligibility.
Completion of a predoctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or an equivalent accrediting body, as required for licensure eligibility as outlined in Code of Virginia Regulation 18VAC125-20-54E.
Experience as a doctoral degree psychologist in working with forensically involved individuals with mental illness.

The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program has positions for Psychologists/Clinical Faculty within multiple TEACCH regional centers across the state of North Carolina. The selected candidate will hold a faculty position as Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (fixed-term faculty) commensurate with experience in the Department of Psychiatry, UNC School of Medicine. Positions are potentially available at any of our locations across North Carolina: Asheville, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Raleigh, and Wilmington. Clinical Faculty at TEACCH engage in a combination of clinical, research, and teaching activities. Clinical opportunities include maintaining a diagnostic and treatment caseload of autistic clients across the lifespan consistent with faculty expertise. Teaching opportunities include supervising trainees, providing consultation, and training of other professionals locally, nationally, and internationally. TEACCH faculty engage in a variety of community-based research activities with current research projects covering the lifespan from promoting access to care for Black toddlers, transition to adulthood interventions, and mental health intervention and services research for autistic adults and older adults. The successful candidate's research activities may range from providing clinical services on an intervention trial, evaluating assessment data from a research database of more than 14,000 individuals diagnosed by TEACCH , and/or pursuing independent research. The blend of clinical, teaching, and research activities will depend on the successful candidate's expertise and career interests.

In addition, this individual will be involved in team meetings and conferences. Other opportunities may include teaching and supervising clinical trainees. Research opportunities may include providing treatment as a clinical trial therapist, contributing to research design, academic presentations, and publications. Additional opportunities may also include presenting in professional training seminars.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
* A PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
* Applicants must be licensed in the state of North Carolina prior to start date.
* Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR).
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Post-doctoral fellowship and/or experience using evidence-based interventions in the treatment of individuals with eating disorders and experience with providing treatment in various levels of care are preferred.
