Contract with our leading clinician-owned and led health company today! The Warrior Vets Medical Services team provides exemplary general medical services. We provide in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. Our team is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct assessments for our veteran population on a traveling basis.
We pay $1250 per day worked. We remit payment within 45 days of encounter documentation in our user-friendly records system.
100% Travel
Our psychologist will travel to each patient to complete psychological exams. We are currently seeking new team members who will serve our incarcerated veteran patients. Applicants can be based anywhere in the United States.
Typical Appointments
In-person appointments consist of general psychological evaluations. Evaluations are performed once per veteran and typically take 60 to 90 minutes. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.
We Schedule Around Your Availability.
Make your own schedule! Our current need is two days per week. We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours each day.
No Administrative Tasks Required
Our back-office support team handles all administrative work, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment. This approach allows you to spend your time where it should be: with your patients.
Training and Experience
These evaluations make a difference in the lives of veterans and directly impact their access to the ongoing care they need. Our clinical psychology team is available to train you on working with the veteran population. They provide excellent ongoing clinical support for any questions or concerns.
Requirements

+ Conduct pre-certification or prior authorization of psychological testing and neuropsychological testing services.

Position requirements:
+ Requires Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical/counseling psychology and managed care experience which includes experience with the administration and interpretation of psychological test batteries; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
+ Must possess an active unrestricted license to practice as Clinical/Counseling Psychologist.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and experiences:
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in a Behavioral Health/Clinical setting preferred.
+ Experience with psychological testing and/or neuropsychological testing is strongly preferred.

Typical Appointments
In-person appointments consist of general psychological evaluations. Evaluations are performed once per veteran and typically take 60 to 90 minutes. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.
We Schedule Around Your Availability.
Make your own schedule! Our current need is two days per week. We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours each day.
No Administrative Tasks Required
Our back-office support team handles all administrative work, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment. This approach allows you to spend your time where it should be: with your patients.
Training and Experience
