Contract with our leading clinician-owned and led health company today! The Warrior Vets Medical Services team provides exemplary general medical services. We provide in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. Our team is seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct assessments for our veteran population on a traveling basis.

Typical Appointments

Co-facilitate therapy and skill-based groups/works with trainees to provide effective treatment and coping skill development for students as well as learning and role modeling for trainee co- facilitators.
Provide professional, short-term mental health services to students:
Provide an integrated assessment of students presenting for counseling to include the influence of bio-psycho-social variables on treatment and to effectively guide subsequent treatment planning.
Develop appropriate treatment plans to target the needs of the student within a short-term, multidisciplinary, and multimodal system of care and collaborate effectively with other treatment resources for the benefit of students.
Maintain the expectations of Individual Service Plan, which includes a 40% caseload of direct service, groups, and outreach (no less than 1% and no more than 2% of total) throughout the academic year.
Participate in development of effective and innovative intervention and skill development programs for students based on knowledge and awareness of emergent campus mental health trends and needs.

Experience and Skills:

We pay up to $150 per hour; you will receive compensation for each evaluation. We remit payment within 45 days of encounter documentation in our user-friendly records system.
Typical Appointments
In-person appointments consist of general medical evaluations in your practice. Evaluations are performed once per veteran and typically take 60 to 90 minutes. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.
We Schedule Around Your Availability.
Make your own schedule! Our current need is 3-5 days per week. We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours each day.
No Administrative Tasks Required
Our back-office support team handles all administrative work, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment. This approach allows you to spend your time where it should be: with your patients.

Active and unrestricted psychology license
1+ year of clinical work experience, post-doctorate credentialing
Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
