Opportunities for training in other treatment approaches (e.g., parent-child interaction therapy for selective mutism [PCIT-SM], dialectical behavior therapy [DBT]), as well as psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, while not central components of the pre-doctoral internship, may be made available to interested interns. Interns will receive educational enrichment through a series of didactics presented by our clinical staff; comprehensive individual and group supervision meetings; clinical meetings within our Anxiety Disorders, ADHD and Behaviors Disorders, and Mood Disorders Centers; and a series of lectures presented through our Visiting Professor Lecture Series. Interns will also be given the opportunity to give presentations to the Child Mind Institute staff, as well as schools and local community organizations. Additionally, there will also be opportunities to collaborate with website writers on specific topics for the Child Mind Institute website and with other services within the Child Mind Institute.
