Our pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology offers an extraordinary opportunity for a qualified student to receive structured training in a unique, innovative multidisciplinary setting. Internship training focuses on accurate interviewing and clinical assessment for a wide variety of primary and comorbid presenting mental health concerns-including anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, behavior or conduct disorders, among others-as well as various evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and other evidence-based treatments will be provided. Opportunities for training in other treatment approaches (e.g., parent-child interaction therapy for selective mutism [PCIT-SM], dialectical behavior therapy [DBT]), as well as psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, while not central components of the pre-doctoral internship, may be made available to interested interns. Interns will receive educational enrichment through a series of didactics presented by our clinical staff; comprehensive individual and group supervision meetings; clinical meetings within our Anxiety Disorders, ADHD and Behaviors Disorders, and Mood Disorders Centers; and a series of lectures presented through our Visiting Professor Lecture Series.
