What You'll Do We are looking for a licensed psychologist to join our team who is experienced administering, interpreting, and writing psychological assessments to either children or adults. If the psychologist works with adults, they may choose to offer either remote or in-person testing. If the psychologist works with children, some in-person testing may be required. In-person testing would be held at one of our many office locations in New York City. The psychologist will also be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations for our testing department with support from our assessment psychologists and testing technicians. We are particularly interested in licensed psychologists who have prior experience assessing ADD/ADHD, learning disability, and autism. The psychologist should be able to independently administer, score, and interpret psychological assessments. If interested, there are also opportunities to manage a caseload of therapy clients. IMPORTANT DETAILS : This is a contract position Examinations are needed in our Farmingville Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Program, Yaphank Correctional Facility and Riverhead Correctional Facility The role allows for flexibility for when examinations are conducted. They can be conducted Monday and Friday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday through Thursday between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at our Farmingville Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Program.
