Job Summary:
Assists in provision of patient care including patient monitoring, provide clerical, reception and public relations duties, and organizational support within the nursing unit. Provide care that is tailored to the needs and abilities of the client.

Assist with the orientation for new clients.
Observe and collect Urine Analysis samples and package.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

Must document two years of freedom from chemical abuse problems.

This residency is designed for adult treatment focused, or child and adolescent treatment focused clinicians. The position includes professional support and development opportunities that exceeds the minimum requirements for supervised practice to attain licensure as a psychologist in Oregon.
This is a full-time, 12 month position with the potential to be hired full time after residency and licensure. Our ideal candidates are those with experience in treating adults, or children and adolescents. The position duration can be extended if needed to accrue adequate licensing hours.
Experience assessing and treating ADHD, mood, and anxiety disorders in an outpatient setting is highly preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in differential diagnosis to rule in ADHD and rule out other mood, anxiety, developmental, or cognitive disorders. Experience in the administration of continuous performance tests and Weschler measures are a plus. Time management and accurate and concise documentation practices will help candidates excel in this position.
Postdoctoral residents will spend a significant amount of time assessing patients for ADHD and other mood disorders. They will be responsible for administering the TOVA (Test of Variables of Attention) test, the Test of Memory Malingering (TOMM) and related measures on a weekly basis. Residents also lead a therapy group of their design weekly, and see an average of 20-25 patients per week in an outpatient setting. This position includes weekly interdisciplinary group consultation time and direct supervision from a licensed Psychologist. Opportunities to engage in research may be available. Every week, our psychologist residents participate in didactics, interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, and at least 2 hours of individual supervision with a licensed psychologist.
Eligible candidates must have a PsyD or PhD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program. APA-accredited internship is highly prefered. Dissertation must be complete to apply; ABD applications will not be considered. Applicants must be in an approved Residency Contract with the Oregon Board of Psychology prior to beginning clinical work; a position offer will be revoked if an individual is unable to enter an Oregon Board of Psychology approved Residency Contract.
Applicants must demonstrate an ability to assess and treat ADHD, work as an effective interdisciplinary team member, and maintain patient confidentiality and documentation in compliance with state, federal, professional, and ethical guidelines. Applicants must also demonstrate an ability to consistently utilize professional communication and conflict resolution skills with patients and staff.
The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, exact hours to be determined by site needs and resident preferences. Residents are offered competitive salaries plus benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, professional liability insurance, PTO, PLO, and paid holidays. Residents may also be eligible for short and long term disability insurance.
Program start date is approximate, depending upon the date of the candidate's completion of internship, the date on which the Oregon Board of Psychology approves the residency contract, and credentialing with Medicaid. This position requires advanced level skill in delivering evidence-based interventions targeted to improve overall health for patients with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems. The work includes meeting with patients individually and/or families for an assessment and then providing recommendations to the medical care team to enhance the patient's care plan. When indicated, the Psychologist may also work with patients for several subsequent sessions to provide on-going skills training and coaching to improve health and functioning. The Psychologist also supports helping patients, who require services not provided in the RCH clinics, to make a smooth transition to care with community partners.

Reports to: Director of Behavioral Health
Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is seeking full-time Autism Specialist licensed psychologist (licensed in Oregonor license eligible) to join our fun and dynamic private practice.
Ideal candidates will be confident in their ability to evaluate and treat Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other behavioral, social, emotional, and cultural concerns while integrating information obtained from caregivers, medical providers, and other behavioral health providers. Good communication and ability to collaboratively develop a treatment plan and help individuals implement skills in an effective manner is essential.
The role is full time at one of our Portland area locations.
The Autism Specialist role involves 50% to 100% of direct contact time to be providing Autism Assessments.
Responsibilities include:

Our goal is to be completely upfront and transparent about our compensation! Behavioral providers are compensated on an annual salary model, with performance based raise eligibility calculated twice during the first year of employment, and thereafter annually. Minimum full time salary for Autism Specialist psychologists engaged 100% in autism assessment is $95,208 annually, for completing at least 2.5 Autism Assessments per week on average. Compensation adjusts based on the observed rate of assessments completed per week, up to a maximum of 3.5 evaluations completed per week with a maximum compensation of $138,100. Additional salary compensation is provided for autism assessment specialists who also provide direct supervision for psychologist residents.
Northwest ADHD Treatment Center also provides annual cost of living adjustments that are separate and in addition to performance based raises!

Centria's Licensed Clinical Psychologist should have a specialization in early identification, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders from birth through 21 years.
The Licensed Psychologists will possess an advanced degree (PhD, PsyD, MA or MS) in clinical psychology, school
psychology, or a related field, will have passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) and will
possess a license to practice in their respective state. This role should have clinical training/background in early
intervention programs, the administration of multiple standardized assessments, including the Autism Diagnostic
Observation Schedule - Second Edition (ADOS-2).
Success Measures
Success measures include adherence to Centria policies and quality standards, performing 5-6 assessments per week, compliance with company and payor requirements, and meeting or exceeding personal qualitative and/or quantitative key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having ASD. Activities will include

Utilize experience in administering autism-specific assessments such as the ADOS-2 and the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (AConduct DI-R). As well as experience with administration and interpretation of tools that assess:
Developmental, intellectual, or cognitive functioning; and
Adaptive functioning; and
Social functioning; and
Speech, language, and communicative functioning; and
Medical and neurological functioning.
Provide sensitive, thoughtful, and supportive feedback to parents as well as the ability to work well with team members, parents, young children, and colleagues in the community. The Licensed Psychologist may also be involved in consultation and program development with community providers, schools, and interdisciplinary clinical and research teams.
Highly motivated to increase both professional skills and knowledge in providing evidence-based and family centered care, and interacting successfully with those from diverse cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.
