Responsibilities: * Performs intakes, evaluations and provides therapy to Behavioral Health patients assigned by the Director. * Actively participates in extended primary care teams and Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) teams, participates on treatment teams focusing on behavioral issues with patients using brief therapies, crisis management and provides consultations to providers while working in primary care. * Facilitates trainings, case conferences; conducts Utilization Review. * Obtains insurance authorization for all patients, tracks visits and obtains re-authorization if necessary. * Completes comprehensive assessment, quarterly treatment updates and discharge summaries for all patients in a timely manner. * Coordinates behavioral health treatment with psychiatry and primary care providers. * Completes psychological testing within parameters of certification. * Performs collateral case work for patients when necessary, i.e. completing disability forms, consulting with other providers, teachers and institutions. * Provides clinical supervision for behavioral health staff and/or interns as directed by Behavioral Health Director, supervises student interns and completes evaluations in timely manner as required by the school program. * Completes appropriate documentation and submits charges in a timely manner as required. * Attends case conferences and in-services when required. Job DescriptionHere are the details regarding our new LICSW opening in Leominster, MA: The office is open Monday - Thursday 8-5:30pm. We are currently conducting telehealth only appointments so she would be able to work from home or work in the office seeing patients virtually. We are planning on opening back up in a limited capacity in the early fall so you could see a mix of in person and virtual visits. If you wanted to work on Fridays, you would have administrative support until 12pm for virtual visits only. We need someone to work at least 36 hrs a week with client facing/billing time. We could offer some admin time in the day but expect that notes should be able to be completed within the visit time with the patient. We are open to patients 17 years and older. We have a large Medicare population and would need someone that is comfortable with older adults. If the psychologist wanted to see younger patients that is fine however, we would most likely not be able to offer them medication management services within our office.
