Working as a Delivery Driver, you will deliver customer orders and replenish Vendor equipment in your assigned geographic territory. We will provide the training needed for you to effectively & efficiently load items into the tool & MRO industrial vending machines that are located in our customers' manufacturing facilities. Placement will occur ASAP. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver product daily to a territory of customers and communicates with distribution center on delivery status. Load/unload delivery orders and ensures signatures confirming receipt & other appropriate paperwork is completed/provided upon delivery. Troubleshoot tool & MRO industrial vending machines. Communicate with all customer personnel in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Maintain quality service levels and process efficiencies while providing for continuous departmental improvements. Effectively coordinate with VMI Manager regarding customer accounts & best practices. Assist with other projects & duties when the business needs require. Home Every Night! THE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE: Experience driving a box truck Distribution delivery experience REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle Valid drivers license with clean driving record KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION: Plans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm & professional under pressure Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization while dealing with frequent interruptions Customer-centric attitude and a desire to grow with & contribute to customer-focused company Proficient use of a Windows computer, including Microsoft Office & Teams Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal are required Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills High School Diploma or GED Equivalency PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that can weigh up to 70lbs Frequent twisting, bending, standing This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
