World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world's leading conservation organizations, seeks bi-lingual Counsel. The Counsel position is an opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish/English) junior to mid-level attorney with a passion for conservation, strong project management skills, and a desire to learn about and support a diverse portfolio of projects.
The Counsel will work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and other team members to provide legal services on a wide range of complex matters, with particular emphasis on employment matters and investigations, compliance, contract negotiation, and other issues affecting WWF's offices in the United States and Latin America. Other areas may include non-profit tax matters, data privacy, litigation, technology, intellectual property, and other relevant areas. The Counsel will apply analytical and risk management skills to serve organizational needs efficiently and effectively and will identify and clearly articulate complex legal concepts and options to legal team members, project managers, and high-level business unit managers. The Counsel will be responsible for developing, directing, and managing multiple projects or transactions, supporting implementation of strategic program goals, and observing governance requirements. The Counsel will ensure that transactions and activities are legally sound and consistent with the organization's mission, authority, policies, and procedures. The Counsel will work closely with outside local counsel in support of our offices outside of the United States.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,700

Responsibilities
* Provides sound and constructive solution-oriented advice on legal and risk issues to colleagues in the United States and international offices supported by WWF-US.
* Authors clear and precise memoranda, guidance, and other written documents as needed.
* Develop processes and templates to streamline legal support to the organization.
* Reviews and negotiates non-standard contracts, vendor agreements, grant agreements, MOUs, and other legal agreements. Advises on contract issues, including compliance, amendment, termination, and disputes/litigation.
* Keeps abreast of proposed legislation and regulations that may have an impact upon the organization, including US and international employment laws.
* Addresses legal needs of the organization assigned by manager.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Proven experience analyzing risks and providing legal advice, including drafting memoranda, agreements, or other legal instruments.
* Strong skills with project management, systems and processes improvement, etc.

* Strong and effective writing and communication skills.
* Solid legal research and analysis skills.

Under the supervision of an experienced and licensed attorney, the LCE intern will be exposed to and participate in various legal functions related to law practice in an elder law setting for low-income older persons. Interns will complete the internship, gaining client interaction skills, subject area knowledge, and supervised experience in individual client representation and systemic advocacy.
Students interested in issues related to landlord-tenant, economic security, healthcare benefits, long-term care services, homeownership preservation, combatting fraud and financial abuse, and identifying solutions to systemic problems should apply. What You'll Do
Works with adults and children to develop case management plans that are updated at least monthly and signed by clients and case manager, which incorporate goals for both adults and children related to core goal areas: finding stable housing; increasing income; and family stabilization and support.
Meets weekly and as needed with families on caseload to develop case plans, review progress, and to follow-up on tasks and services.
Coordinates with available employment supports to ensure that clients' employment and educational needs are being effectively addressed.
Networks with community resources for housing, employment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, training, etc., and makes referrals as appropriate, including to COH Therapist and other community resources, as appropriate.
Completes required assessments with families.
Maintains regular communication in accordance with program contract guidelines with all families on caseload and documents progressive engagement efforts with difficult to engage families.
Obtains signed release of information forms and communicates regularly with staff at treatment programs, substance abuse programs, and vocational programs.

Description
Open Arms Housing, Inc. (OAH) is a non-profit organization committed to providing permanent homes, with ongoing support, for women who have experienced chronic homelessness and may need or desire mental health support and services in Washington, D.C.
OAH is currently seeking a full-time Case Manager to work with clients in the organizations Scattered- Site Permanent Supportive Housing Program (PSHP). The position requires an experienced Case Manager to work with women challenged by years of homelessness, substance use, and behavioral and physical health issues.
Position Overview
The OAH PSHP Case Manager will manage cases of single adult women residents at scattered sites in Washington, D.C. Will work with individuals for services and supportive housing through DCs Department of Human Services Coordinated Entry process. Will work with residents and other service providers to develop a plan of service to meet social, health, emotional, and economic needs to combat homelessness. Will coordinate services using Housing First and Harm Reduction approaches.
The PSHP Case Manager works alongside a team of six PSHP Case Managers and reports to the PSHP Director. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment, tailored to meet individual needs and to promote housing stability.
Essential Responsibilities
Support clients moving into stable long-term housing;
Experience with chronically homeless adults and adults experiencing substance use;
Advocates for and actively assists residents in obtaining services (e.g., health, mental health, intellectual disability, alcohol and drug, housing referrals, financial assistance, home-based services, training, medical services, mentoring, and socialization);
Assists residents with the upkeep of apartments by meeting regularly with residents in their units;
Addresses and if necessary, diffuses crisis situations with residents. Assesses safety issues and assists residents to access emergency services as needed (e.g., mental health services, adult protective services, rehabilitation services);
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with the property management for units;
Collaborate with ACT teams and other treatment teams in place;
Meets with the resident as needed to provide feedback. Regularly assesses, supports, and facilitates resident progress;
Maintains case notes; Maintains records in compliance with organization policy and compiles requisite statistics;
Attend staff meetings and professional trainings;
Meet with PSHP Director and Clinical Director on a regular basis;
Models caring, concerned, respectful attitude toward residents and staff. Maintains adherence to resident guidelines and is familiar with and complies with policies and procedures of Open Arms Housing;
Flexibility, creativity, compassion, and professionalism.
Qualifications
MA degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields required;
Experience working with adults with serious mental illness, chronically homeless adults, and/or adults with substance use required;
Two (2) years of work experience providing direct case management services;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to meet all goals and objective for the position;
Ability to respond to crisis situations;
Keen attention to detail, follow through and organization;
Ability to work independently and part of a small team;
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Box, and Case-Management Software).
Salary and Benefits
The Case Manager position is an exempt full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with occasional late evenings and weekends. The starting compensation is $47,000-$53,000, dependent on experience, with an annual salary adjustment (COLA). Benefits include vacation time, and 100% employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees.

Educare DC draws on a blend of private and public dollars, including federal childcare funding, Early Head Start, Pre-K, and other state and federal funding streams.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Comprehensive Services Manager, the Mental Health Specialist will work with a team, including families, to develop and implement individualized behavior plans for children ages birth to 3, as well as individualized classroom interventions. These plans not only specify goals that target specific social emotional outcomes, but they also help the child access the school environment. The Mental Health Specialist will provide early childhood mental health consultation to general educators at Educare and Educare partner sites to support students with challenging behavior/social emotional delays to access our high quality language enriched curriculum and other early learning activities. As such, the Mental Health Specialist will adapt general education experiences and teach basic skills to these children, such as self-regulation and communication techniques, while establishing a developmentally appropriate classroom environment favorable to the development and personal growth of all children.
The Mental Health Specialist will be responsible for implementing all program requirements in adherence to all performance and outcomes standards as prescribed by the multiple funding and model requirements. By collaborating with teachers of students who have a wide range of learning, mental, social, and emotional abilities, the Mental Health Specialist plays an essential role in Educare's overall model of academic excellence for at risk children and their families. An essential part of the coordinator's position is the ability to communicate and work with families to support the development of their child with behavior challenges. The coordinator's position will require that they provide direct interventions for children (0-3) that need individual support and monitor appropriate implementation of classroom interventions and interventions for children with social emotional concerns (0-3). Caseload quantity depends on student need and enrollment in our program.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and provide continuity of care to help children develop secure relationships.
Attend and participate in all scheduled trainings, engage in coaching cycles with Classroom teams and develop individual plans for their own professional development.
Provide an adapted curriculum focused on social/emotional development.
Curriculum:
Support children's ideas, initiative, and creativity.
Assist teachers in developing, selecting, and modifying instructional materials and plans to meet the social emotional needs of all children with a wide range of mental, social, and emotional skills.
Consult with classroom teachers on embedding social emotional practices in individual and small-group instruction ensuring that teachers maintain an appropriate classroom climate which establishes and reinforces acceptable child behavior, attitudes, and social skills.

Creates relationships with school homeless liaison officers and attendance officers. Conducts school visits to assist in getting school attendance records, as needed.
Creates partnerships between neighborhood/city agencies that have children/youth programs and serves as liaison between them and COH. Provides those resources to Girard, Hope, The Triumph, and The Volunteer Team
Is present at afterschool and evening activities to work with volunteers and program partners to develop appropriate activities for children, including; coaching volunteers, setting up program space, tracking attendance, enforcing rules and program expectations, cleaning up the room, and communicating any schedule or program changes.
Meets with Volunteer Manager/Volunteer Specialist at least monthly to create programs to ensure volunteer involvement and review volunteer performance. Provides feedback after activities and programs.
Develop monthly calendar of activities for Girard Kids Club and The Triumph's Fam Club nights using client feedback to help increase client participation. Provide activity to support to Play Night at Hope Lead Volunteer, as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Document CHEERS observations (Cues, Holding, Expression, Empathy, Rhythm/Reciprocity, and Smiles) following each visit where the target child or children are present.
Coordinate medical care for caregiver in the prenatal and post-partum period, identifies barriers to care and problem solves to address them. Obtains immunization and well-child visit information for all children on caseload. Ensures that both caregiver(s) and enrolled children have a primary medical care provider and medical insurance.
Meet with families on caseload primarily in the home environment to provide information from evidence-based curriculum on basic baby/toddler care, social and emotional development of the child, understanding cues, physical and brain development of the child, as well as play and stimulation. Frequency of visits are based on HFA standards.
Network with COH and other community resources for housing, employment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, training, child and family services, etc., and makes referrals as appropriate. Progress on referrals provided, releases of information, and follow-ups, should be documented in the records database.
Offer parents referral to Strong Start or Early Stages following ASQ screenings below the identified cut off. Makes referrals to appropriate resources following depression and domestic violence screens that indicate risk.

Supervises assigned Emotional Wellness Case Manager, Addictions position and supports the effectiveness of their interventions which includes effective case management services, community engagement, coordination of care and other departmental requirements.
Provides consultation and guidance surrounding substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders including staying up to date with best practices, current drug trends and resources within the community.
Provides professional addiction counseling and psychotherapy to clients of the health center, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and professional counseling to individuals in need of addressing Substance Use Disorders and or co-occurring disorders.
Interviews, evaluates, and assigns a diagnosis to new clients with complex problems relating to alcohol, other drug abuse and co-occurring disorders.
Completes required screening tools to assess clinical diagnoses and monitor symptoms, quarterly, or more frequently as needed. Completes a treatment plan for all short-term therapy clients by the 2nd scheduled session and for long-term therapy clients by the 4th scheduled session.
Monitors client progress through the course of treatment, reevaluating and adapting the treatment plan at required intervals. Updates treatment plan at least every 3 months or more frequently as appropriate.
Provides crisis intervention per the clinician's licensing and COH guidelines, to include addressing suicidal/homicidal ideations.
Provides all types of addiction recovery, treatment coordination and systematic reporting of progress, recommendations, and referrals in accordance with applicable program guidelines.
Follows COH's clinical protocols at all times, including by contacting Child and Family Services Administration, Adult Protective Services, Mobile Crisis, and/or 911 when appropriate.
Helps identify and address related problems affecting addiction recovery, such as housing, vocational rehabilitation, and social integration, and coordinates service delivery with other health center staff and community providers.

Community of Hope is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Emotional Wellness Therapist specializing in providing professional addiction counseling and psychotherapy services within a supportive and respectful environment. As an Emotional Wellness Therapist, Addictions you'll empower individuals and families experiencing addiction as well as common co-occurring mental health stressors such as anxiety, depression, trauma etc. by providing diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and professional counseling through various effective intervention methods, meeting clinical standards within the appropriate scope of practice.

What You'll Do
* Supervises assigned Emotional Wellness Case Manager, Addictions position and supports the effectiveness of their interventions which includes effective case management services, community engagement, coordination of care and other departmental requirements.
* Provides consultation and guidance surrounding substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders including staying up to date with best practices, current drug trends and resources within the community.
* Provides professional addiction counseling and psychotherapy to clients of the health center, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and professional counseling to individuals in need of addressing Substance Use Disorders and or co-occurring disorders.
* Interviews, evaluates, and assigns a diagnosis to new clients with complex problems relating to alcohol, other drug abuse and co-occurring disorders.
* Completes required screening tools to assess clinical diagnoses and monitor symptoms, quarterly, or more frequently as needed. Completes a treatment plan for all short-term therapy clients by the 2nd scheduled session and for long-term therapy clients by the 4th scheduled session.
* Monitors client progress through the course of treatment, reevaluating and adapting the treatment plan at required intervals. Updates treatment plan at least every 3 months or more frequently as appropriate.
* Provides crisis intervention per the clinician's licensing and COH guidelines, to include addressing suicidal/homicidal ideations.
* Provides all types of addiction recovery, treatment coordination and systematic reporting of progress, recommendations, and referrals in accordance with applicable program guidelines.
* Follows COH's clinical protocols at all times, including by contacting Child and Family Services Administration, Adult Protective Services, Mobile Crisis, and/or 911 when appropriate.
* Helps identify and address related problems affecting addiction recovery, such as housing, vocational rehabilitation, and social integration, and coordinates service delivery with other health center staff and community providers.
Requirements
Must-Haves
* LICSW or LPC required, with experience treating persons with addictive disorders. Any providers who are licensed in another state who provide a copy of their license to Talent Management are also eligible for licensure reimbursement.
* BLS Certification.
* Ability to travel between sites.
* Ability to work evening or weekend hours depending on client needs and organization events.
* Ability to work with technology and electronic health records.
* Thorough knowledge of substance abuse treatment principles, counseling techniques, diagnostic assessment, and treatment planning.
* Experience in facilitating SUD group therapy, Co-occurring group therapy, and psycho-education groups on recovery.
* Ability to accurately complete assessment and diagnostic forms as part of the medical record.
* Ability to appropriately intervene in situations involving hostile clients or individuals experiencing a crisis.
