+ Engineer/Scientist with proven expertise in developing representative computational models of complex bio-physical interactions from first principles.

+ Has developed HW prototypes and designed user studies to collect data and empirically validate models.

+ Expertise in numerical methods for modeling diffuse transport in biological tissue preferred.

+ Proficient in programming languages, MATLAB, Python, C, CUDA etc.

+ Has experience using commercial simulation tools like ABAQUS, COMSOL for analysis.

+ Knowledge of human physiology is a plus.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent documentation skills.

**Description**

You will be working with a team of research scientists and hardware engineers developing technologies for the health sensors. This role will require you to take the lead in developing foundational modeling tools from first principles which can accurately describe tissue-sensor interaction. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, validating and optimizing this framework and will be the subject matter expert within the team. You will be responsible for collaborating with a multi-functional team of scientists and engineers to deliver detailed assessments of sensor designs which can inform and improve sensor design and performance. - Experience with hands-on HW/prototype development required. - Fundamental understanding of electro-optical systems is preferred. - Basic knowledge of EE principles. - In-depth knowledge of tissue-optics. - Must have strong programming skills. - Proven experience with developing analysis tools for automating data processing. - 2-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

**Education & Experience**

- MS/PhD degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical) or Applied Physics ,or Applied Mathematics.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) required
• 2+ years of prior experience serving multiple clients required
• PE license preferred
• EIT required
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in Public Works and able to interact with clients
• Knowledge of regulations and requirements (Illinois preferred)
• Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs preferred
• Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred

Las tareas correspondientes serán:

-Analizar la posición y funcionamiento de los sistemas/equipos potencialmente emisores y susceptibles de EMC en el proyecto, para asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los diferentes sistemas y proponer medidas de mitigación y/o cambios en el diseño que garanticen su correcta operatividad.

- Apoyar en la gestión de ensayos de EMC de los diferentes sistemas del proyecto, solicitando y negociando ofertas con los laboratorios homologados, realizando acompañamientos de los ensayos y verificando el cumplimiento de las normativas EN 5021, EN 50238 y EN 50500.

- Desarrollar documentación técnica sobre la gestión del EMC, requiriendo a los proveedores o responsables de sistemas las certificaciones de los equipos para composición de la documentación técnica del proyecto. En los casos de no conformidad informarlo al responsable del proyecto.

- Realizar simulaciones de emisiones electromagnéticas y análisis armónico.

Requisitos:

- Formación: Máster en Ingeniería Eléctrica/ Electrónica o similares

- No contar con experiencia profesional, bajo ninguna modalidad de contratación.

- No haber participado en un programa de beca con anterioridad y/o no haber realizado más de 3 meses de prácticas curriculares.

- Estudios finalizados en los últimos 3 años, o cursando último año.

- Dominio de inglés y se valora positivamente el conocimiento de cualquier idioma adicional.
