EVALUATION CONTENT
The selected candidate must take a post-offer medical examination (including back screen and complete physical) given by a County appointed physician before the first day of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon the results of the medical examination. Applicants for County employment may be subject to a post-offer criminal background check, depending on the nature and assignment of the position. When such check is conducted, an offer of employment is contingent upon the results of the criminal background check. Appointees must satisfactorily complete a probationary period before the appointment will be considered permanent.

Position Overview
Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking creative and proactive Social Media Interns who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. As a Social Media Intern, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience creating social media content, especially video, at a world-renowned multidisciplinary arts destination. The Intern will be part of the strategic communications team and will work collaboratively with peers in marketing and digital media.

Strong interest in Social Media Content
Strong Video creation/editing skills
Adept at working independently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable communicating with students, staff, and visiting personnel in person, on the telephone, and over email
Strong computer and organizational skills
Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Must be at least 18 years old
Applicant must be able to work extended and varied hours when needed
Knowledge and interest in the arts preferred
Photography experience preferred
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere or other video editing software preferred
Comfortable with AI integrated technology preferred
