Position Summary
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team by assisting with day-to-day tasks, campaign execution, and content creation across various channels. Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the creation, scheduling, and optimization of content across social media platforms

Job Summary

Job Timing & Assignment
This role will operate during the “Summer of 2025” - with the candidate expected to work an agreed-upon percentage of Pirates home games and community events from the start of May through the end of August. In practical terms, candidates can expect to work between 4-6 hours at 20-40 games/events with other ad-hoc assignments to be identified as the season unfolds and schedules permit. Some flexibility in scheduling by the candidate will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of Diamond Kinetics with input & coordination with the Pittsburgh Pirates:
Execute Field Marketing Plans
Complete activation setup and clean-up in a timely manner
Manage and execute on-site campaigns, events and promotional programs
Engage and facilitate the branded experience with a wide-range of fans at various events
Interact and educate with fans, distribute marketing materials, and encourage usage of DK products after the initial experience
Coordinate and Support Staff
Coordinate with event partner management and staff representing the companies professionally
Coordinate weekly schedules to ensure on-site activation staffing at all home games
Assist with creating seasonal partnership recaps (ex. compile weekly updates, report on fan traffic and sentiment, take/sort/edit photos that may be used in social media and other promotional channels.)
Identify and Implement Process Improvements
Quickly learn best practices and adapt processes to increase efficiency, customer engagement, and overall brand activation
Provide feedback to marketing and tech teams at DK on product performance - along with any recommendations from the field
Support Digital and Social Strategies
Understand the brand strategy and maintain the brand voice - represent DK is a positive manner
For content distribution - adhere to best practices/content internally and seek ways to collaborate with partners (i.e., Pirates social and in-park teams) to help achieve more visibility for the DK activations

Compensation and perks include pay at $7.25 per hour and tickets to each performance.
