We are seeking a highly qualified Residential Security Agent to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional judgment, integrity, and situational awareness while ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and visitors. This position requires extensive experience in armed security operations, superior communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to high-pressure situations.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
$44.50 per hour + $5.05 health and welfare
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide armed protection for personnel, facilities, and assets in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Conduct roving patrols, access control, and perimeter security to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
Monitor and respond to security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment.
Screen and process all visitors, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site leadership during incidents.
Apply de-escalation techniques and exercise sound judgment when responding to disturbances or threats.
Adhere to all use-of-force policies and maintain weapons in a safe and responsible manner.
Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Be a citizen of the United States of America.
Be at least 21 years of age. While there is no maximum age limit for RSA positions, all applicants shall be able to withstand the physical demands of the job and be capable of responding to emergency situations.
Be a high school graduate or have a General Educational Development (GED), or equivalency.
Be able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver's license.
Possess one of the following qualifications:
a minimum of three years of military experience, or;
a minimum of one year of sworn law enforcement or armed contract security guard experience providing services similar to this contract requirement
Undergo a criminal background check processed by the Government.
Be free from conviction of any felony.
Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code, Title 18 S.C. § 922(g)(9) (Lautenberg).
Be free from any convictions for Driving under the Influence in the past three years prior to application.
In the case of military service, any separation must have been under honorable conditions.
Successfully pass all physical fitness requirements.
Possess a solid work history without any significant infractions or discipline.

Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.

* Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, parking enforcement and accident investigations

* Public Safety Officers are required to use computer systems and other technology, namely access control, visitor management and security camera systems
* A Public Safety Officer will be assigned to work either a day, evening, or overnight shift depending on the needs of the department. The position requires the Security Officer work holidays, weekends, nights, and a variety of shifts and overtime when circumstances warrant. QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure: Driver's License in applicable state required. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment required. Must complete Basic Security Officer Certification through the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensure: Driver's License in applicable state required. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment required. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Campus Public Safety serves Southern Oregon University in providing a safe and secure campus environment for University staff, faculty, students, residents, and visitors, as well as protecting campus property. The department achieves this mission by recommending, and enforcing related campus policies and procedures while providing appropriate training for University personnel and students. The Department patrols, investigates criminal activities and takes enforcement action for violations of local and state law while working in concert with outside law enforcement agencies.

The Public Safety Corporal assists in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves responding to incidents and supporting the implementation of safety protocols and emergency procedures. The Public Safety Corporal plays a key role in maintaining a secure environment and acts as a liaison between security staff and the Sergeant.
Hours:
Evening Shift (4pm - 12am)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or education in criminal justice, public safety, or a related field is preferred.
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license with no more than 5 current points, and the ability to obtain and maintain any required endorsements or certifications.
* Successful completion of post-hire entry training course, included but not limited to: CPR, Stop the Bleed, Narcan, and de-escalation. Must maintain certification requirements.
* Effective 1/1/2025: Possession of Maryland Security Guard license or must file for license within the first 2 weeks of employment. Must obtain Security Guard license within first 90 days of employment.
* Certification in healthcare security (e.g., Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA), Certified
* Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO)) or other relevant security certifications is highly desirable.
Additional Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Exceptions may be considered for individuals under 21 who have:
* Military experience
* Law enforcement experience
* Comparable security experience in a health care environment
Work Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in security or law enforcement, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Currently hiring Unarmed Security Officer for upscale apartment building/retail community in Washington DC.This is a full-time roving position for approx. 30-40 hours a week. Several shifts are available, from 7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm, and 11 pm - 7 am, and other available shifts. MUST WORK WEEKENDS
Applicants must be able to pass a drug test; and have reliable transportation, a cell phone, and a DC Security Officer License.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
Responsibilities
Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Remove trespassers when necessary
Monitor surveillance cameras
Respond to reports of suspicious activity
Report on daily activities and any security incidents
Uphold the property rules and regulations
Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
Respond quickly to critical situations
Patrol retail locations, parking garages, and common areas as needed and deter panhandlers and loiters from property
This is a roving post and will require constant walking.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
