Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:
• Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
• Provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
• Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
• Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Stocker Responsibilities:
• Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customer
• Follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
• Organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes
• Operates machinery and follows all safety procedures
Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store
• Stocker: Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights

GS-5 and GS-7: $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay annually.
This is a career ladder position with promotion potential up to GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade after 52 weeks at each level, subject to agency discretion.
CBPOs receive comprehensive federal benefits including health, dental, vision, sick and annual leave, and retirement plans including a Thrift Savings Plan (similar to a Roth 401(k)).
Recruitment Incentives: For eligible locations, you may receive an additional 10-25% of salary for the first 3-4 years depending on the location. These incentives apply to new federal employees and are subject to funding.

Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Main Purpose of Job
This position is a full performance level of technical work involving the installation, repair and maintenance of radio transmitters, receivers, communication sub-systems, audio transport networks (microwave, Fiber optic & Il), voice logging recorders and other related communication equipment, as well as performing the same activities with speed control devices, in-car camera systems and body worn cameras in accordance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations and manufacture specifications.
POSITION DUTIES
Installation, removals, maintenance/repair of mobile & portable radios, base stations, communication consoles, remote control units along with other technologies such as in-car cameras, speed control devices, in-car computers, voice logging recorders and body worn cameras. Installs de removes equipment from vehicles and remote sites. Maintains, repairs, and operates interoperability communications systems at mobile and fixed sites, including microwave & fiber optic systems. Maintains/repairs and installs logging recorders, speed-control equipment, and audio transport circuits. Maintains accurate inventory and maintenance records on all equipment in assigned area. Orders and maintains a sufficient number of parts and supplies for the operation of the assigned radio shop. Maintains shop & remote tower site cleanliness through regular cleaning (Ex. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Five years of experience in the repair of electronic communications equipment, four years must have included the repair of two-way FM radios. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute the successful completion of a one-year program of study in radio electronics at a recognized training school, trade school, or college for up to one year of the required general experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Electronics Technician (Communications) classifications or Signal Corps, Aerospace Maintenance, or Data/ Communications Maintenance specialty codes in the aviation communications field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualifications.
