The Position: The RPSGT Day Sleep Technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. We are looking for five experienced, fully registered, and certified full-time Sleep Technicians to work at our PAR Sleep Center location.
Job Responsibilities for the RPSGT Day Sleep Technologist
Score nighttime sleep studies, including sleep / wake stages and clinical events according to accepted guidelines and clinic protocols, and generate accurate reports by tabulating data.
Educate patients about CPAP therapy and perform mask fittings
Perform download of CPAP machine data cards
Trouble shoot CPAP mask and machine problems and work with patient to find solution to increase compliance.
Coordinate with DME company regarding patients CPAP machine: complete and fax paperwork for initial set ups, write and fax RX for initial set ups and new equipment, assist with patient questions and equipment problems, etc.
Respond to voicemails and EMR messages within timeframe as set by PAR.
Accurately document patient activity, phone calls, in EMR
Coordinate home sleep studies: Instruct patients on the proper use of the home sleep unit, complete all paperwork, upload completed studies for physician review, etc.
Fax sleep study results to referring patients
Trouble shoot sleep software and equipment
Evaluate sleep study related equipment and inventory
Maintain cleanliness of lab by cleaning and disinfecting equipment
Communicate with night techs regarding patient needs, questions, etc.
Must be willing and able to work at any of PARs three locations on a moments notice.
Perform other duties as required by the providers, manager or member of Administration.

Licensure: RPSGT is required and Virginia licensure.
