* The division provides inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases specialty care to children with highly complex medical and surgical problems, including children with cancer or who are undergoing stem cell or solid organ transplantation, through the comprehensive, growing multi-specialty practice at the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center.
* Division members are actively engaged in research, with support from the National Institutes of Health, industry, and intramural sources.
* The department has a pediatric residency program and the division has a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship program, both of which are ACGME-accredited.
* The division seeks an additional member with complementary clinical and research expertise in areas such as the infectious complications of transplantation, immunodeficiency, antimicrobial resistance and stewardship, infection prevention and control, emerging infectious diseases, and/or microbiologic diagnostic testing
