University Of Minnesota Physicians pulmonary physician job description
Collegial group practice with a large referral base that includes 17 physicians and 5 advance practice providers.
Approximately 12 weeks of outpatient clinic time per year and the remaining time will be inpatient work.
Approximately 80% pulmonary medicine patients, and 20% critical care patients.
20 ICU beds at St. John's Hospital and 8 ICU beds at Woodwinds Hospital and 24 LTACH beds.
Support staff includes respiratory therapy and RN's
Procedures include Bronchoscopy and PFT.
May see between 8 and 16 patients/day in the clinic, depending upon the number of new or follow up appointments. In the ICU setting, average 10-12 patients/day.
EPIC EMR utilized throughout the healthcare system
Qualifications:

Applicants must have an M.D., completion of an internal medicine residency and have demonstrated high-level qualifications and in-depth knowledge in the area of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine including Board Certification or eligibility in both specialty areas.
