spacecraft operations, and basic understanding of
orbital mechanics.

The Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join its Water, Sewer, and Streets (WSS) Bureau. This position is primarily responsible for operating a backhoe to excavate trenches on construction sites and roadways, perform backfilling and fine grading, and operate other related equipment to support the construction and maintenance of seasonal public works projects.
NOTE: This recruitment may be used to fill comparable vacancies within the department.
Minimum:
High school diploma/equivalent;
Three (3) years of experience in public works, construction, or another trades vocation that demonstrates the ability to perform semi-skilled to skilled manual maintenance and/or construction;
One (1) year of experience operating heavy/specialized equipment such as backhoes, concrete trucks, medium and tandem dump trucks, crane trucks, front-end loaders, or asphalt rollers, asphalt/concrete saws, skid steers and forklifts and/or other specialized equipment; and
Must possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
Desirable: Preference may be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
Two (2) years or more of operating a backhoe and/or similar equipment;
Excavating trenches below grade and around utilities;
Field construction, reading/interpreting plans, cut sheets, etc.; and/or
Performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
Special Requirements
CDL: Selected candidates must possess a Class B or A commercial driver's license (CDL) at time of hire. About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Vac Truck Operator for our Springville, UT location.
The Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe transportation of the vac truck to and from the sites. The Operator will also operate the machine in a safe and skillful manner. The preferred applicant will help the team as needed in all capacities to successfully complete the job and will preform any additional duties as directed by the foreman. This is a pipeline position and will be a part of said crew.

Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Snow Equipment Operators to join our winter operations team. As a Snow Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for clearing snow from our commercial client locations including entry roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians during winter weather events.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, skid steer, dump trucks and other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow events
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles and equipment
Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed
Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)
Previous snow removal experience operating snowplow trucks or heavy equipment for large commercial and industrial properties

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled and energetic Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our growing team of professionals. Our equipment operators perform many different tasks; for example, receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading product as it is picked.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using power equipment. Maintain Equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily inspection on assigned equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
Receiving/Putaway - Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate areas.
Order Picking - Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and ready for shipment.
Loading - Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers or containers.
Quality - Ensure inbound and outbound shipment are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances as needed.
Inventory - Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
Safety, Housekeeping, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA and other applicable standards. Report issues and problems to Management.
Safety - Will Support and abide by the company's safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures.
Must meet job standards, which may change as equipment, materials and procedures change to allow for improvements or additional responsibilities for this position.
Qualifications
NAPA Associates are required to have the stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
6 months prior work experience is a plus.
Prior Powered Industrial Equipment preferred
Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and orally) and remembering their sequence. The position requires good basic math skills and the ability to identify both numeric and alphanumeric sequences accurately and rapidly for placing product in the proper locations.
Should have basic computer usage skills.
Physical Demands / Working Environment
Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights, typically 25 to 50 pounds or more, depending on the job duties.
Pushing and Pulling: Capability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment loaded with materials throughout the warehouse. This may involve pushing or pulling heavy loads over extended distances or up ramps.
Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the duration of a shift. Warehouse employees need to be able to move around the warehouse facility to pick orders, stock shelves, or perform other tasks.
Bending and Stooping: Capacity to bend, stoop, squat, and reach to retrieve items from shelves, bins, or storage racks. Employees need the ability to access items throughout the warehouse at various heights and angles.
Climbing: Can climb ladders or stairs to access elevated storage areas or perform maintenance tasks. Warehouse employees need to have the capacity to work at heights to include open floor mezzanines and follow safety protocols for ladder use.
Operating Equipment: Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Depending on the job role, employees must pass certification or training programs to operate certain equipment safely.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to handle small objects, operate machinery controls, and perform tasks requiring precision and accuracy. This may include picking and packing items, labeling products, or assembling shipments.
Repetitive Motion: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as scanning barcodes, sorting items, or packaging products, throughout the shift. Employees should be able to maintain productivity while performing repetitive motions safely.
Physical Endurance: Stamina and endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets. Warehouse employees need to have the capacity to work long hours, weekends, or overtime during peak periods.
Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Employees should be vigilant about potential hazards in the warehouse environment and take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
This position offers an hourly pay of $22.75. Many of our hourly positions have pay progression with set starting rates and you reach the top end of this range within 12 months of hire. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
